Splinterlands Seasonal Highlights: Diamond League Progress & Major Draw Rewards

The Splinterlands, a play-to-earn game on the Hive blockchain is one of the best game I come cross and I am playing the same form past five years. We are almost in the mid of current season of the game and few days back I claimed the rewards form the previous seasonal. At present I am battling in the Diamond III league and I am sure will unlock the Diamond I league this season also. I previous season I earned 183,523 glint tokens form ranked play and form the season end rewards. As usual I spend almost all the Glint I earned form last season to strengthen my collection. Mostly I spend the Glints on the Epic Draw and the Rare Draw, but this time I chosen the Major Draws. With 150000 Glint token I purchased the 150 Major Draws.
Battling with the cards provided the bonus is also a good option to earn some extra SPS form the ranked battling. The old edition cards like Alpha and Beta cards provide the 10 to 20% bonus and additional 10% if the cards are the Gold Foil cards. So if you are renting cards form the secondary market and get a good dal on beta and gold foil cards then do not miss it.
Game progress
The above screenshot shows my current game progress, I am battling in the Diamond III league and required 220 points to unlock Diamond II and very sure that will unlock the next couple of days and before end of the season will be battling in the Diamond I league. With SPS staking the total reward boost is 8.84 times and earnign the aprox 418 glints per win form raked battle. To be part of a Guild also helps in earnign some extra rewards in ranked play. I am trying to unlock the Champion league this season also but I know this is not an easy task. I need more strong collection if I want to be unlocked the Champion league and want to be sustain in same.
At the start of every season I use to spend all my Glints earned form the previous season on the different draws. The new Gold Draws looks impressive as it ensure that all the cards will be gold foil, but they are too much expensive. So I am not in a mood to purchase any of the Gold Draw. Those draws are approximately 16 to 23 times more expensive then the normal draws. I purchased the 150 Major chests along with the potions. Here are the screenshot of cards received form the Major chest.
From 150 chests, I received 188 cards, 208 potions, 46 energy, and 18,446 merits. No doubt getting 188 cards out of 150 draws is quite impressive. The 18,446 merits also allowed me to purchase 9 Gladius cases, that will adding 45 new cards to my collection. I have opened some additional chests and Gladius cases too, which I'll share in a future post.
We are the crypto lovers were waiting for the bull market form a long time, and with the green candles in the BTC charts shows that we are in the bull market. The BTC is creating new all time high price records and when I am drafting this post the price is 99,082.18 USD (we are about to break the 100,000 USD mark). The SPS price was above the 0.01 USD last week but now again is below the 0.01 USD.
The expected rally in both the Hive and SPS token is not as expected. Hope the condition will be more better in coming days as the other alt token will also participate.
