Our project doesn't have much of a tech background. So when it comes to tech we haven't been doing much. If we need something to be done then we need to hire externally. Sadly, we haven't been inventing anything new and awesome for the hive ecosystem, and I doubt we will either unless we onboard a full time dev team in the future with full days to spare.
That being said we have been using our skills to their full use where we have them. For instance I am a previous well read author. I've had a full set of articles go super-viral in the past and have had both a column on the Good Men Project and the Huffington Post. My pièce de résistance is when it comes to writing, holding an audience and building up communities. I have a long history and I'm fully skilled in soft skill management and community building, along with a load of other skills I learned from my endeavours in writing and building an audience online.
So far we have developed Brofi.io - whilst in the early stages, brofi.io will be a point of contact blog for people that are new to hive and want to come in and see what we have to offer. We will hook them in via other means instead of uber-technical posts that will make their eyes glaze over. They will be written in the form that anyone can understand and will serve as a bridge to our projects and the wider community. One thing I've learned through hive is that we have to make it simple for them, they wont just come on their own volition.
I have been working with @stickupboys now for almost a year and his skills range in logistics, financial planning, and like me, getting himself out there. As a team we have become quite kick ass and will be developing quite a bit over the next ten years with our wide skillset.
We have currently battened down the hatches for the bear and fully focusing on the community building, whilst at the same time we might purchase something here and there.
What to say, what to say. It's a 7 day week down over in hive engine building up our projects. From buying into new ones that come along, to forging alliances with new and upcoming projects it has been a busy year. Our focus is three fold:
Whilst a great chunk of our liquidity is locked up in splinterlands, we have a small five-figure amount locked up in Legion. There's not much happening with Legion at the moment due to lack of sales and lack of funds - however we are quietly building in the trenches. We are building up our assets here through swaps and straight up hoarding. We also have several things coming in the future that will require people to buy Legion for some good APR. More to come.
The Man Cave server has always been a social place. There isn't a huge amount of people active in the space but a high amount of people use us for information on future events and things we are doing with other projects. We will be building on our activities, games, and social presence over the next few months for more users and to make us a more engaging and pleasant place to be. Essentially we are hoping to have something for everyone there in the future.
Over the next several months I'd like there to be an influx of archived information for anyone that wants it. This may be a tad controversial but I really love the way hustlers university is set up so that users can access the training materials they so wish to crush it at life. This is something I'd love to build upon in the coming months so that our community can access training from people that really know their stuff. Something I'd have to look at inspiring in the future.
Yes, we are witnesses on the Speak network. All our videos are done through there and we want to look at growing our presence there too. I absolutely love the message that @theycallmedan sends out and how he continually pushes the narrative that social media is a con, all of it, and those that propose freedom only tout for control.
So we will be growing on here too. You bet.
