Craft a heart shape key holder with me.

Hello! Family @diyhub, happy new week to you all. Welcome back to my blog. Its your favourite girl @zalibee and in this post i will be guiding you all on how i crochet this beautiful heart shape key holder.

Crochet 🧶 is creativity stitched into reality. And in this post i will prove that to you🥰.

MATERIALS USED:

• Yarn.
• 2.5mm hook.
• scissors.
• key holder chain.

BELOW ARE THE STEP BY STEP PROCESS:
Note: There are words you will be coming across more often in this process which are: single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet,half double crochet,chain,and slip stitch.

STEP 1 I begin with a magic ring.

• Then I make a single crochet into the circle. Then I place a double crochet into the circle. And into the same circle, I place 3 treble crochet.
  
• Then I place 4 double crochet into the circle and tighten the circle a little bit.
  

• I made 1 treble crochet into the circle to make the tip in the bottom of the heart that will give us a half part of the shape. Then, I repeat what i did on the other side.

STEP 2: So again I place 4 double crochet just like the other side, and next i place 3 treble crochet, and again I place a double crochet into the circle, and lastly I place 1 single crochet. And I end this round with a slip stich into the first single crochet.

AND THIS IS HOW THE FIRST ROUND OF THE HEART IS LOOKING.

STEP 3: To start the second round, I chain 1 and i skip the first single crochet and into the next stitch I place a single crochet,and half double crochet into the same stitch.

• Then into the next 2 stitches I place 2 double crochet.

• On the next stitch, I place a double crochet and a half double crochet into the same stitch.

• I place half double crochet into the next four stitches.
  

• On the bottom point of the heart, I place a half double crochet, double crochet and half double crochet on the same stitch .

• Then on the opposite side I repeated the same process.

• I place a half double crochet into the next 4 stitches.
  

• Then into the next stitch, I place half double crochet and double crochet into the same stitch

• Into the next 2 stitches I place 2 double crochet.
  

• In the next stitch I place half double crochet and single crochet into the same stitch.

• And lastly, I place a slip stitch into the last stitch.
  

STEP 4: For round 3, I chain up 1 and skip the first single crochet and into the next stitch, I place a single crochet and a half double crochet.

• Into the next stitch I place a half double crochet and a double crochet into the same stitch.

• And next I place 2 double crochet into the next 4 stitches.
  

• Then in the next stitch i place a double crochet and half double crochet in the same space.

• Next, I place half double crochet into the next 5 stitches.
  

• And again I reach the bottom point of the heart and into that bottom stitch i place 1 double crochet, 2 double crochet and a half double crochet.

• Again, I repeat what i did on the other side of the heart. So into the next 5 stitches i place a half double crochet.
  

• In the next stitch, I place half double crochet and a double crochet in the same stitch.

• In the next 4 stitches i place 2 double crochet into each stitches.

• In the next stitch, I place a double crochet and a half double crochet.

• And in the next stitch I place a half double crochet and a single crochet into the same stitch.

• And lastly, I skip the next stitch and make a slip stitch into the Stitch beside the skipped stitch and thats the end of that row.
  
  I REPEAT THE SAME PROCESS IN ROW 3 FOR ROW 4 WHICH IS THE LAST ROW. By making increase in the 2 double crochet in the next 6 stitches and half double crochet in the next 10 stitches.
  

I REPEAT THE SAME PROCESS FOR THE SECOND PHASE TO GIVE US TWO HEART SHAPES.

• Then, I placed both heart facing each other and I use my yarn to join them together with a single crochet.

• Before rounding it up i trimmed some yarn into tiny pieces and stuffed them inside the heart to give a puffy look.
  
  NOTE: you can make use of cotton wool or any soft material to give it a puffy look.

And I continue with the single crochet. I attached my key holder chain at the center top of the heart, and finally, I chained one,cut my yarn, and pull through.

AND THIS IS HOW OUR HEART SHAPE KEY HOLDER IS LOOKING.
