Made a Portal to a New World in My Room... XD

I decided to do a thorough cleaning in my room today. I'm using this room both as a bedroom and an office because I still don't have enough budget to renovate the extra room as my office and studio.

While I was cleaning, I decided to rearrange my stuff because I plan to have a longer table. My father is going to make it, and I'll be designing it when it's done. And since I want to save space in my current room, rearranging my things would be a good solution. Anyway, this future table will be transferred to the office someday, and when it's done, I'm going to work on my bed. I already have the design for it.

Anyway, going back to the main topic...

When I was moving my things around, I also cleaned the wall, especially near the space where I'll be putting my mattress. However, I noticed these...

It looks awful, so I got an idea and decided to work on it... I gathered my materials and started painting over it!

I decided to transform them into a window and a door. So, using a pencil, I created an outline of the door and window. I chose this shape because it's cuter than the usual square and rectangular ones.

I covered the space where I'll be painting with white first. The room already has a yellow-green wall, which is not really my favorite, but I have no choice for now. Someday, I'll repaint the whole room with a color of my choice. hahaha I don't know why, but a lot of Filipinos color their house with bright colors like yellow-green and orange. Our neighbor's house is also yellow-green. I mean... XD

Anyway, let's continue...

I set the background color first, and then worked on the window...

Recently, I have enjoyed drawing clouds... So here are some fluffy clouds outside the window... alongside some random trees, well, at least some top parts of trees. hahah

While waiting for the paint on the window to dry, I worked on the view outside the door. It's a natural view with mountains, trees, a lake, a grass field, etc.

Now that the views outside are done, it's time to add some bricks around the window and door for a dramatic effect. LOL

It looks much better with the bricks... It's done!
However, I noticed that I had smudged some blue-green paint beside the door, so I decided to add an element I used to paint on my previous bedroom's wall.

$1

Yep... I added some "Makurokurosuke"... I love them!!!

Look at all that mess!!! It was so low that I had to lie down at some point while painting it. I hope to paint more stuff on the wall... It's either that, or I'll repaint it with a much better color. However, I want at least my room or my future office/studio to have random doodles or paintings around! XD

Here are various perspectives of the artwork on the wall. I'll let them dry first before adding my mattress beside it. The space where I'll work is on the other side. It was where my mattress was last time, but if I want a longer table, this arrangement would be the most appropriate. :)

And yeah, that's it for my artwork this morning. It's a fun way to cover some imperfections on the wall.
What do you think? :D

Anyway, I'll end this post here for now. Thanks for reading and see you around! (^^,)/

Thank you so much... I've always wanted to make one, so those cracks on the wall gave me the opportunity. haha XD

My pleasure! ^^

Uuuh it's such a lovely idea for hiding some walls defeats I have some in my new house too now I'm thinking about drawing some portals but unfortunately I'm not good as you in drawing. 💕

You can do simple designs, or just random doodles of things you like! :D
Drawing is about having fun and expressing yourself! <3
