A few days ago I made a candy box filled with goodwill messages for my boss and it was received with so much love. I saw his reaction and I was so happy that I could make someone smile. I guess that’s the rewarding part of making gifts for people. Making gifts for our friends and loved ones with so much love and seeing their reaction is everything.
Today I decided to do something fun as I wasn’t going to work. I made a beautiful paper lamp. I’ve been wanting to create this lamp for a while now but it looked difficult but after seeing another Hivean create a butterfly lamp I decided to take a leap of faith and guys I did it! My lamp came out just fine against all odds😃
I learnt something today, when we organize our projects in a good tutorial form it helps to guide people who wish to embark on such projects in the future.
To make this beautiful paper lamp of mine I used the following materials:
Materials
Cardboard paper
Plastic bottle
Gum
Scissors
Ruler
Pencil
I took the following steps to make my paper lamp.
Step 1:
To make this beautiful paper lamp you start by drawing a star on your cardboard paper.
Step 2:
After drawing your star on the cardboard paper, proceed to draw a circle in the middle of your star.
Step 3:
After getting both shapes correctly, carve out your star. Do this neatly to avoid disfiguring the shape of your star and invariably your paper lamp.
Step 4:
To proceed to the next step you must first ensure your star looks nice and afterward you carve out the circle in between your star.
Step 4:
Cut your plastic bottle to the length and size that you want and wrap your cardboard paper around it.
Step 5:
Apply gum to the top and bottom part of your star and afterward gently place your wrapped plastic on your star.
Step 6:
Attach the eyes of your star, draw the mouth and do some finishing touches to your lamp and Voila! your lamp is ready and good to go😃
Do you like my little star paper lamp? Is this something you would love to try out? I’d love to know what you all think in the comments.

Your paper lamp looks amazing.
You did a good job, although I'd didn't see the light you used
Would have being nice.
Good work still
Your paper lamp is quite impressive. It would fit well for decorating a work space at night. A subtle light source. Great work
Great idea
The lamp looks amazing.
I was hoping to see the lights you used though. Were they Christmas string lights?
Wow, this is so cool. I like how it came out beautifully at the end and the blue cardboard produces a cool effect as well.
What kind of light did you use?
