Crochet Vintage Baby Lace Collar

I made a beautiful vintage baby lace collar, one that is easy to learn and beginner-friendly. This lace collar combines the basic stitches for beginners and the repetition of the stitches.

To make this beautiful vintage baby lace collar, I used the following materials and followed the steps below.

Materials
Yarn
Scissors
Crochet hook

Terminologies

CH— Chain
SL— Slip Stitch
SC— Single Crochet
DC— Double Crochet
HDC— Half Double Crochet
TR — Triple Crochet

Procedure

Step 1:
Make a slip knot. Proceed to make 57chs and an extra 5chs for the button hole. Make a row of single crochet.

Step 2:
Begin row 2 by making a chain, turn your work. Make another row of sc with the front loop.

Step 3:
Begin row 3 by making 4chs, turn your work. Skip the first two stitches, make a dc on the third stitch, chain 1, and skip one stitch. Complete the row by repeating this pattern.

Step 4:
Begin row 4 by making 3chs, turn your work, proceed to make 2dc, and chain 1 in all the gaps. Repeat this pattern for the entire row. End the row by making your last dc in the previous 3-chain stitch.

Step 5:
Begin the last row by turning your work, put 6dc in each chain one gap and 1sc in the next stitch. Repeat this pattern for the entire row.

End the row by slip stitching into the third chain of the previous chain 3.

Put your button and viola! Your vintage baby lace collar is ready!
