Drawstring bags are simple bags and can be carried by anyone. They are simple, lightweight, cute, and can be used for many things, depending on the size of the bag.

I made a drawstring bag today, a little cute drawstring bag and I love it!
Just like other crochet projects, repetition of patterns is very common. I repeated the same pattern over and over again until I was satisfied with the size of my bag.
I spent a couple of hours making this piece and I couldn’t have been more proud of the result.
To make this lovely drawstring bag, I used the following materials and followed the steps below.
Materials
Yarn
Crochet hook
Scissors

Terminologies
CH— Chain
SL— Slip Stitch
SC— Single Crochet
DC— Double Crochet
HDC— Half Double Crochet
Tr— Triple Crochet
Procedure
Step 1:
Begin your drawstring bag by making 20chains.

Step 2:
Begin row 2 by skipping the first three stitches, put 2dc on the fourth stitch, and put 1dc from the 5th to the 19th stitch. On the 20th stitch, make 6dc.

Step 3:
Begin row 3 by turning your work and make 1dc in each of the stitches, end this row by slip stitching into the first three chains.

Step 4:
To begin the Mesh work on the bag, make 4ch. Then put 2dc in the next stitches, and proceed by making 1dc, chain one, and skip one stitch. Continue with this pattern for all the rows.

Step 5:
Repeat step 4 for as many rows as needed until you reach your desired size and length.

Step 6:
Make your string and attach it to your bag.
