We all know how vital rain is to the growth of crops and so unfortunately for me i haven't seen much of it at my side of the country. But luckily yesterday was a blessing for it rained heavy so it is time to prepare and plant crops. I am looking forward to planting potatoes, so when it rained yesterday, i gave it time for the ground to harden a little bit then i started to work. I started to make the rumps, i first use a pickaxe to dig around the use the hoe to gather the sand round making rumps.so i continue to do this repeatedly till i fill the space i am working with.
So once the rumps were done, what was left was to was to weed around the area and place and weave garden sticks around to keep the animals out. Buh first i weeded around
So after weeding, i then used my pickaxe to dig out a hollow line of where am going to be placing the garden sticks to enclose the area.
So after doing that i recleared the path and i decided to start with the sticks.
After placing this first one, i used it to demacate my starting point because i am going to be doing that hopefully tomorrow. These are the sticks i gathered for the work.
But i decided to cover the other end with some building blocks which were stacked over each other.
And i will also make some adjustments to that Tomorrow. So i finally did it or almost dome with it. All i have waited fo r it to rain and once it did i finally did it.
Thank you all for reading and goodluck to all my fellow farmers out there βππ€
