Yesterday was such an interesting day for me despite the things that didn't just agree to go the way I wanted it. My day started off with me being grateful for life and the amazing people and opportunities I'm presented with daily. I had a job to do that morning which was to make a client's hair. She sent me the style she wanted me to braid for her so waking up yesterday, my major goal was to get that done. It's been a while I made hairdo for anyone and that's because being a student it's just hard to juggle everything together so most times I give preference to being on Hive instead.

Actually, while making her hair, she asked me a few things about Hive and that got me thinking. She didn't even pay me up to $5 for that hair yet knowing that I still choose to sacrifice my time of being on Hive for her. That's because she is a friend and she has been really good to me. All I could do was make her understand that it wasn't necessarily because she paid me I was making that hair for her but because she has been an amazing person. Interestingly, she understood that well and I had plans of taking pictures of the hair to share on hive but unfortunately for me, my phone's screen got spoilt after falling down.

It's been over a year I got that phone and this will be the first time I'm planning a major repair on it. I felt a bit relaxed even when that happened and that was because I knew I didn't have to worry about it so much. At least I still have life and Hive which gave me hope and also I have people who will be able to help me if I needed their help. Well, I could have easily asked them for help but then I'm considering powering down some hive instead which will be my first ever power down since I joined hive.

I'm very sad about it though but I know how much those around me have helped me and it's not nice for me to keep bothering them when I'm privilege to have some good savings on hive. It was still thanks to Hive I was able to get that phone last year and now Hive is saving me again. My deepest gratitude to God for helping find a place like Hive where I won't have to be too worried about meeting up with some emergency needs. I'm also grateful to everyone that has made this possible for me on Hive. Thanks for your support through upvote, reblogs, comments and contests.

I plan to use the money met for paying my school fees to get the phone fixed first because I need my phone more and also because it will take up to 7 days for my first power down to be completed. I'm saying this here because I want you to know why I'm powering down. Personally I wanted to keep staking my hive for a solid five years and above before considering power down because I just feel that's my own little way of saying thank you to Hive but sadly that might not be happening again.

Anyways, I'm still happy about yesterday. I felt exhausted and had to write a late post and also slept late with aching body but it was fulfilling. I'm not sure what today holds for me but I'm going to hold on to this optimism and pray everything ends in praises.
