It is already a year plus and some couple of days since I officially started using the Hive platform, even though my account has been created since 2017/2018. Though when I returned, I was not expecting much. Because in all honesty, I just returned curious and a bit skeptical, like, let me just go and see what is being done there. Then I had a shift.
Just like some sections of a website, the communities here didn't feel like that. From all the communities that I have interacted with, they all feel like an actual room where we all talk and always sit to discuss from wherever we are. I have interacted with writers from countries that I have not been to, people whose daily routine is totally different from how it is done where I am from. And somehow, we all tag along, same thoughts. And I am still a little surprised by that.
And I also started my witness interview sometime ago, and it caught me off guard how they all have been responding in a good way. And these are people who are running the blocks and nodes that are the backbone and support system of this entire blockchain, holding it all together for us to use different interfaces easily. They all spoke and gave me answers to the questions I sent to them without remorse, no pride. They did it openly with genuine transparency, especially in our world today, where those who have power usually make people distant. The openness they gave felt rare and really worth noticing.

I am not saying this Hive platform doesn't have its own flaw. Because no platform is flawless, and I won't pretend. But what scores perfectly here goes beyond the rewards or the technology behind it. For me, it has to do with the texture of how real our interaction has become. No one is doing it for the algorithm, and that is why every engagement I see is very real.
When I returned, my hope was to look for a platform. But I found a community that will continue to remember our names even when we might decide to stop using Hive. And to me again, that is a perfect score. That is why I am still here.
Thank you for reading.

Staying skeptical while remaining engaged is actually the healthiest position in crypto. The space needs fewer true believers and more people who hold their convictions lightly enough to change their mind when data contradicts them. What shifted your stance from skeptical to 'still here' — was it a specific project, a market event, or just accumulated observation over time?
Everything that shifted my mind, I discussed everything in the post if you check well
