For the past 48 hours, I’ve been thinking a lot about Hive marketing. Are these just random thoughts or something I can’t stop thinking about? This isn’t the first time I’ve gotten stuck on an idea, looking at it from all sides. I usually dive deep into research when something grabs my interest.
Before I explain more, I want to share that I’ve gotten 50,000 views on my posts in two subreddits before. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s not nothing either. I’m confused why the view count says 48.8k when I was getting 3,000 views per hour. I don’t really get how these numbers work (it was alot higher).
Today, I learned a lot about marketing: what works, what doesn’t, and how to do it well. I really enjoy this stuff. My head is full of ideas on how to make marketing better. Money is nice, but the excitement of this work matters more to me. It’s almost like an addiction. Have you seen the top Reddit posters? Some make about 50 Hive a day, in some parts of the world it's enough for people to live comfortably.
But to succeed, you have to avoid getting banned from subreddits, pick the right ones, follow their rules, and not spam links like some people still do (and often somehow it works too, I am confused on this point for now). You also need traffic to get approx 6 HTU (HiveTokenUnit) upvotes making 3$. To go further, you can comment under Hive-Echo to get upvotes and earn rewards like HBD (the prizes are very attractive) or delegations through initiatives like X-Rain.
Doing this with friends feels like a fun game. It’s exciting and rewarding. In the last 48 hours, I’ve made new friends, and people liked it when I shared their posts.
I’ve done marketing for companies before, and learning Reddit marketing is a useful skill. It’s something I can use outside of Hive too. Imagine getting paid to promote someone’s blog, helping it rank higher, and making extra money.
My random thoughts and overthinking are starting to take over again. Before they get out of hand, I’ll stop here for now.
🎉🎉🥳 Congratulations 🥳🎊🎊

keep up the good work
good luck exploring the marketing borders of reddit , i hardly vissit reddit myself only when i google certain IT problems and see people posting their with the same question then i'll reed it but i have no account there .
I can understand that for some people it might be a way to create extra funds for a living , and it would be nice to see more new people on hive in the process . So it could be a win win situation for the marketeer and for hive .

These days I am also getting into reddit. It's amazing to see you progress on reddit and your insights especially that bykea post. And yes, thank you so much for guiding about subreddits and choosing some suitable ones.
Your welcome 🤗
I got alot of backlash on nestle post though xD
Reddit audience is savage and don't trust others. Here on hive it's much sweeter 💕
This data is very valuable and you mentioned what attracts Hive users the most: money, hahaha.
As long as you master the operation and rules of any platform, you can achieve success.
Lovinghive ❤️
Thanks!
I saw someone generating 1M views on reddit for peakd post. I will try to beat his highest score and take his crown 👑

Hi friend, it would be interesting to join you on this adventure. I'll be following your interactions. I've had four Reddit accounts banned, but I'll try for the fifth time to join this great promotional project. I've been pasturing hive-echo and the hiveposh initiative, and it's gone well. The support for our work is great. You should join.
Hello @dlmmmqb, let me ask you. What is the difference between the payment of comments and the payment of the author's share of reddit proceeds?
80% distributed between sharer
20% to author
If someone selfvote, that selfvote goes to hive.fund but author or any other sharer will still get the benefit, only the self benefit part goes to hive.fund
Payments come in liquid hive.
@dlmmqb, What do you mean by self vote? Does the author or sharer vote on the reddit comments in the post?

What if the author shares his own post on reddit, does the share go to the author 80% or 100%?
