2000 Hive Power: A Milestone Achieved
I don't usually make such a post, but it felt necessary to do this one. Not for other reasons, but because I know what it took me to reach this milestone in the blockchain. For one who was encouraged, persuaded and inspired by his friends to join this blockchain, it means a lot to attain this milestone. If you ask me, I would say that perhaps, I wouldn't have seen myself putting that much effort into getting to this point. But here I am today, celebrating 2000 Hive Power.
So, yesterday I achieved 2000 Hive Power on the blockchain. I had been anticipating it for some time, thereby causing me to show up here consistently. What does that mean? It means there were days I didn't feel like blogging or bringing up any kind of post but I had to pull myself to show up here. One big goal was on mind, amongst others－reach that 2000 Hive Power. Sometimes, it felt like not forthcoming. But it was a journey of determination, and I had to keep on.
Funny enough, just yesterday I wrote on a prompt about waking up to 100k Hive Power and what to do with it. Whereas, I was achieving a Hive Power of 2000. I guess that prompt took me on a wild imagination. Chuckles. Through that post, I expressed what I could or would do with such a huge Hive Power. Writing it and reading the post of one or two persons, I saw how much one could do with such Hive Power. It added to the beautiful feeling of attaining the 2000 Hive Power.
While my 2000 Hive Power is not much compared to that, it means a lot to me for the sake of the efforts it took me to attain it. As I mentioned, I don't really post such, but I had to on this one. After attaining 1000 and then 1500 Hive Power, I was fixated on gaining 2000 Hive Power. This made me keep showing up, and powering up when I could. Also, trying as much as possible not to power down even when it felt like I should. With such a goal, I had to avoid it.
Today, I celebrate 2000 Hive Power in my wallet. But this milestone transcends just some HP in my wallet. It means my voice and actions on the blockchain have attained a new height. It could be an inch, but it's something. So, I have it to continue growing in Hive Power and in the knowledge of the blockchain, alongside growth in my writing skills. Yes, because the journey to this milestone isn't shy of growth. I always mention that my achievements on the blockchain go along with my growth, which remains vital.
Will the journey stop here? No. We know that Hive has been struggling in the market, but it also means an opportunity to gain more Hive Power, which I plan to continue. I guess the next milestone is 2500 Hive Power. Well, I can't drop the pen without acknowledging the support of all who have made it possible to attain this height. It's one thing to post, and another to gain support, and I'm grateful for all the support gained. We do more, Hivers.
