It is well known that cryptofinance is not only vulnerable, it attracts the worst of humanity. Thieves, human hyenas, vultures disguised as men, try to steal without scruples. It's frightening. I wonder how a human being is capable of such coldness, such inhuman audacity. But they exist, and in increasing numbers.
Lately, HIVE has been plagued by these unscrupulous wretches. Important stakeholders have warned about this (here or here). Some are very cunning, creating accounts with the names and photos of well-known users (here). There have already been victims, so it is important to be vigilant and share the warnings.
I myself was lured into an unprecedented theft scheme. Let me explain: I made a swap:hive for swap:bnb exchange on Hive-Engine, but there was a processing error. I waited a few hours and went straight to the tech-support channel on Hive-Engine's Discord to report the problem. I thought it was strange that EcoInstant (locolombia) was referring the matter to a private message. But I went. I noticed that there was a difference in the name by one letter, EcoLnstant (locolombia), the L for the I, but the avatar photo was the same.
The guidance from Hive-Engine's “technical assistant” advised me to go to this website and enter my keys to recover what failed in the Hive-Engine operation.

Well, I confess: I am a bit naive (because I never see evil), but at the same time, I have more than divine protection. My intuition always warns me, and I stopped the game. I assumed in the message that I was responsible for the loss of almost 30 HIVE and ended the conversation.
When I woke up the next day (yesterday), I noticed on Discord that I hadn't been talking to EcoLnstant (locombia) but to Alvaron I Ember Protocol. Lol. The identity had changed. I was absolutely certain that my intuition was right.
I spoke to the real EcoInstant (locolombia) and we confirmed that a disgusting impostor had broken in. In other words, if I had followed the assistant's instructions today, I would be creating drama. And drama is not something you create, it's something you avoid.
So, keep your eyes open and if in doubt, before making any decisions, check the feed of the front-end you use, go to snaps or waves, or other Hive microblogs, there is always someone who alerts and many others who pass on the alert. Even on Hive-Engine Discord, be careful, it's full of scammers.
Don't make drama on HIVE, avoid drama - stay alert. I've been on HIVE for almost 2 years, and I've never seen so many extortion attempts as now. 🚨 Stay alert 🚨

Esse tipo de gente sempre tem em todo lugar, mas no meio crypto... é muito mais! Ainda bem que você estava atento, ou sua intuição estava afiada!
Eles não param. Enfim...abrir o olho é a solução.
