What to do when your hive feed is boring

I was going through the @wolfofnostreet page when I saw the article and below her article, she asked,

What do you do when you're bored on hive?

I will be sharing with you all the things are do during that moment when I feel bored on Hive.

Here's what I do when I'm bored on hive...

- Go through my follower's page

In my three months of being an active user on Hive, I can't remember the last time I went through my Hive feed and there is just one reason because I feel the feed doesn't give me exactly what I want. So the first thing I do when I am bored on Hive after making my post is to go through a few friends' pages which I m sure excite me.

Although they are not real-life friends because I don't know them, I just got to meet them here and their style of writing always makes me want to go through their page every day to check what they've done. Friends like @iskafan, @wolfofnostreet, @blezyn, @merit.ahama, @kemmyb, @princessbusayo. I don't think there is a day that has passed by and I did not visit their blog.

- Go through my notifications

This has become a habit that I can't stop. I find myself scrolling through my notifications to check old comments I missed or perhaps to check some notifications I did not check but cleaned off immediately after I came online.

- I reply to old comments

Many times I am so busy that I forget to check my comments box for comments that I did not reply to, so during these moments, I find myself replying to these old comments.

- I check my wallet

Who no like money? I love to claim payout, it gives me excess joy no matter how small it may be. I also check how many HBD I have in my wallet and the worth. I check to see how far my HP has risen and how much it will take to reach a certain amount within a week.

- I check my reputation

Whenever I see people with high reputations, I always pry that someday, I will get them, so one of the ways I use my time here is to check my reputation and see how soon I am going to get into the next level.

- I search for ongoing contests.

There are days I have three to four lines up of ongoing contests waiting for the next day before I will make a post, so another way I use my time here is to begin to check people's blogs or posts to see the ongoing contest so I can participate in them.

I may not participate in it that very day depending on the end of the contest but having a lineup of them on my list makes me conscious of what I should do the next day or next hours I feel like making a post.

- I make comments

Most of my comment is always done at the end of the day or other times during the period I am going through the people I follow post so I can make comments, but this is one of the things that keep me busy on Hive.

Other times, I am just checking communities for contests I can participate in.
