In a long while I am finally here again dropping a post in this beautiful community, I am sorry I almost forgot such a community still exists but to be honest I noticed something was missing on the blockchain but I couldn't Phantom what was actually missing not until I got a tag from @anttn on the introduction of a new contest and upon seeing his tag, I realised it was time to get busy with a prompt topic and it took me some days to be able to prepare my write up for the contest and I am happy to be finally visiting the community...
Without wasting too much of our time let me get to the topic of the day which clearly asks us about our health, it doesn't stop there alone, it is also a question of how well we take care of our health and today I am going to be telling you all how I take very good care of my health with different methods including the importance of nature medicines...
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY
HEALTH???
There is this beautiful saying that goes like this; health is wealth, this beautiful saying has been a daily reminder in every aspect of my life that no matter what I do both now or in the future, my health must come first, it must be my first and utmost priority over other things because if I don't take care of myself nobody will and that is why I have to make my health my first priority...
As a child I fall sick towards the ending of the year and after praying to God for complete healing, I recovered and since then I have decided to take charge of my health before talking to my parents about it because I don't joke with my health...
I have heard of different deaths caused by lack of good health and for me not to end up that way I have decided to do everything in my power to maintain a good health...
Health is wealth is a very strong phrase, I don't know why some people don't put their health first in all affairs, they prefer to chase wealth first than their health, what will happen when you have that so called wealth and you dont have good health to spend the money???
Is that not a waste??, the main reasons I am saying all this is for you to never second guess your health, always make sure in whatever you do your health should always be your first and utmost priority...
Taking care of my health is something I love doing on daily basis and for me to live a healthy life and lifestyle, I have several things I do to make sure my health is always intact and sound...
Some of these things are something we all know and have seen in our environment but I will love to show you all with both pictures and explanations in the below paragraphs;
HOW I TAKE CARE OF MY HEALTH
Before I go into details on what I have listed above, I will love to tell you that if you should put all the things I listed above into consideration and you utilise them well, you will never experience I'll health for any reason because these things are the key factors to a healthy life especially your feeding habits...
EXERCISES...
We all know the importance of daily exercise in our life, exercise helps different parts of the body function well...
The importance of daily exercise can not be over emphasised, it is equally important as food is because it helps in burning fats in the body, it also aids the osmoregulation of the body system...
Burning out sweats as a result of exercise helps in getting rid of toxic and harmful substances from the body...
Light exercises are required daily basis, it also helps in reducing excessive addition of weight and most importantly it helps us keep fit in all aspect...
In summary, I make sure I do both light and strenuous EXERCISES on daily basis to get rid of fats, toxic and harmful substances from the body and most importantly I do exercises to keep fit...
Under exercise comes meditation a situation where you meditate in a particular position for a specific time, it can be for hours or minutes but most importantly it helps keep the body, soul and spirit in check which also means acquiring inner peace...
I do this too on daily basis along with my exercise...
BALANCED DIET...
One of the main problem we are facing in the country is 70 percent deficiency diseases, not eating the right food at the right time, taking the wrong food for the right reasons...
A lot of people have fallen terribly ill because of their negligence towards the content and constituents of their intake...
When we talk about balanced diet, it means having a little of all the six classes of food on daily basis, carbohydrates, protein, vitamin, mineral salts, fats and oils and others...
I know in this our age and time not all have the finance to eat a balanced diet but even if you can't afford a balanced diet you should always make sure you always have fruits both before meal and after meal on daily basis...
Fruits goes a long way in the maintenance of the human health and body and that is why we should never leave out fruit in our food time table...
I as a person don't really have the funds for balanced diet but I make sure I eat fruits at least 4 times a week and that includes having oranges, banana, grapes, apples and water melon...

All these fruits have different functions in the human body which helps in maintaining a healthy health....
ADEQUATE REST...
This is one thing I don't joke with in my life and for no reason or the other will I ever sacrifice this for any other thing...
I come from a family of sleepers lol, my siblings and I are one hell of a sleeper, we can sleep from morning till night and we can also stay awake for good 12 hours without blinking...
We were trained by our elder sister and we have come to love adequate rest so much that it is now a part of us...
We sleep when we get tired and work when the need be, we never let it affect our other activities but the fact is that we have adequate rest at all times...
Sleeping is a natural treatment to the human body, it helps in strengthening and preserving the human mind, it keep the body balanced and prepared for any activities...
Sleep is needed and required to live a healthy life, it helps keep sanity and order, sleep more often but don't over do it...
I have trained myself in a way that my work and having adequate rest dont affect each other at all and that is why I am good at what I do...
MEDICINAL HERBS
Nobody is perfect and that is why no matter how careful one can be, you can never escape sickness, it might not be a big deal but there is always a high probability of catching something called sickness, it might be a flu, malaria, fever, typhoid or any other sickness, the fact is that I have different means to make sure I am always safe...
I am someone who doesn't really love to visit the hospital over a slight sickness but I will rather go for natural means to treat myself and get better but if the symptoms persist after I tried my method, I then now go to the hospital for a test and then get prescriptions from them but if stops I don't visit the hospital...
I prefer using what nature has provided for me to cure myself of this sicknesses rather than having some pharmaceutical drugs from a big drug company...
Putting my health first, my parents and I decided to plant some medicinal plants in the compound that serves different purposes for us especially when we are sick...
I am going to be showing the pictures below, we have ** bitter leave, lemon grass, morringa leaves, and another one which are used to prepare a liquid herb after it has been washed, squeezed and sieved....
FRUITS AND HEALTHY EATING
HABIT...
We should know when to take different food, I have a friend that prefers having heavy meals for dinner and at the end of the day he doesn't sleeps and ends up with indigestion...
Heavy meals can be taken either afternoon or morning but dinner are mainly for light meals, we should understand this protocol if we want to live healthily at all times...
We should never forget to eat fruits on daily basis because they have their own importance in the human body and that is why it is necessary to have them in bulk...
In summary, the above listed are the ways by which I take care of myself, I make sure I do all this at least 5 times a week and most importantly taking care of ourselves shouldn't only be internal based, we should always take care of our body externally and that means having proper bathing at all times and brushing daily because it slowly starts from there before developing into something else entirely...
In conclusion, health is wealth should always be a song in our lips at all times and we should always make it our first and utmost priority at all times because he who has a good and sound health will live to enjoy many things but he who chases wealth and neglects his or her health will come back to spend that same wealth on his health and that is if it's not too late...
We should be conscious of whatever we take because some might not be the best for us, eat responsibly at all times...

You've said it, can't agree more one your different points..! I see we are almost on the same line about the care we take on our health, I think I should exercise a bit more, just to get rid of that sweat, as you said. Health is wealth, indeed! It's amazing how many illnesses we can prevent by caring for our bodies... When we are younger, we don't think about ourselves and our health... Getting older is an "eye-opener", sometimes it's too late, but as soon as we begin, better!
