A Saturday Filled With Spiritual Food: Making Time for What Truly Matters ❤️

Hi fellow Hivers! 🌷
‎
‎@mayt here! 💕 I'm glad to be connected to this beautiful @hiveph community and share our little experience during the weekend.
‎
‎Just another moment of my life that I really enjoyed which I can't wait to share here on Hive. 🌸
‎
‎Let's start! 😄
‎

‎
‎As a part of our routine and spiritual activities, we had a program to watch... it's the monthly JW Broadcasting at 3 PM. We went to my mother-in-law's house to watch the program. And being a blogger here on hive is part of my life and sharing my daily life is part of my blogging activities. 😅
‎

‎ ‎
‎Aside from sharing with you what happened and what I've learned, I will also share with you what we ate after the program. That day was so hot! Thanks goodness my mother-in-law had almost three electric fans. Hahaha.
‎
‎Those fans made the place a bit cool and comfortable for us. As we watched the program, it was a great experience for me to know that there was a woman who had a busy daily routine but somehow managed it to have an exclusive time for her personal bible study. She didn't just spare a few minutes during her free time;
‎
‎she made it a point and dedicated a certain part of the day to that matter.
‎
‎That was an experience I could relate to since I'm a mother of two and a wife; there are times that I just have a lot of things to do in a day,
‎like taking care of the kids, cooking and doing the household chores, and not to forget my activities here on Hive, but somehow I just miss giving enough time and attention to my personal bible study.
‎
‎While listening to her story, that was an area that I need to work on.
‎
‎Studying the word of god must be prioritized in our lives as children of god. It is the reason why our creator created us, to serve him. It doesn't matter how old you are, your gender, and your ethnicity, every one of us is his creation and he loves us. 🥰 Sometimes, we need to be reminded to adjust our schedule and make time for the things that we really want to achieve in life, and for a godly life, having a personal bible study is necessary. He wants us to be happy and contented with what we have. There will always be a task that we need to do, a list of things we need to buy, and a lot of other responsibilities we need to take care of, but it should never stop us from giving time to what's really important in life.
‎
‎That afternoon, it was a good reminder that I really need to make time and give attention to my personal bible study to be a better version of myself.
‎
‎After watching the program, it was snack time!
‎

‎
‎We had a variety of delicious foods on the table!
‎
‎We prepared sinapot, bread, puto, pansit, and soft drinks.
‎

‎
‎I eat pansit and sinapot, and they were such a great combination! I love how the salty taste of the pansit went well with the sweet sinapot.
‎
‎Of course, I had some soft drinks with my meal. We all enjoyed eating while having a good time with each other, sharing stories, and having a good laugh. That was the atmosphere we had that afternoon.
‎
‎Taking a group photo with the foods on the table was a must! Hahaha. We sent the photo on our group chat to let them know that we've already finished watching the broadcasting. That was a good way to update each other and keep everyone informed. Since we all lead a busy life, sometimes it's a good way to remind each other.
‎

‎ ‎
‎It doesn't matter how old you are or your status in life, your creator still wants to have a relationship with you, and he wants to see you grow and flourish in life. I've learned a great lesson this week that I would like to apply in the coming weeks and months.
‎
‎I hope you all enjoyed reading this short experience of me. Now, it's your turn to share with me what are the usual snacks you and your family or friends have when you get together? 😁
‎
‎❤️Thank you for reading my little story! I hope you enjoyed it. 🥰

I truly enjoyed reading your post today. It is nice that you were able to watch the JW Broadcasting together with your family. The lesson about making time for personal Bible study is very inspiring. As adults, we often become busy with daily responsibilities, kaya minsan nakakalimutan natin ang mga bagay na mas important. I admire how you reflected on your own routine and looked for ways to improve. Your mother-in-law's house sounds like a comfortable place despite the hot weather. Three electric fans were definitely a big help! 😄 The snacks also looked delicious. I especially like pansit, and I can imagine how good it tasted with the sweet sinapot. Ang saya rin ng bonding ninyo while eating and sharing stories together. Family gatherings like this are very special and create wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing your experience and the valuable reminder about prioritizing our spiritual activities. Have a blessed week ahead, my beautiful friend! ❤️🙏 Ayieeeeee!!!! 😁

The food is delicious—and it becomes even better when you share the meal with people who are good to you and your family.

It’s also really great to learn something from the topics being discussed—like your broadcasting—it’s quite refreshing. Hehe.
