Good day to my beautiful fellas!ππ Hello to all of my friends here and of course to all my dear fellow hivers in this lovely @hiveph community!π€π How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing fine right now. This is me again, @lj1728 πto share another simple life story with you all.

Yesterday went by smoothly, and I felt a quiet sense of relief as the day unfolded. Compared to Mondays, which are always packed with endless tasks and responsibilities, yesterday was noticeably lighter. I only had a few things left to finish, so the workday felt more manageable and less stressful. Because of that, I was able to move at a calmer pace and actually enjoy the flow of the day instead of rushing from one task to another.

By snack time, I experienced a small but heartwarming surprise. Our HR personally gave me a vegetable salad that she bought herself. I was genuinely touched by her gesture. It may seem like a simple thing, but acts like that really make a difference, especially in the workplace. She has always been thoughtful and kind to us, her subordinates, and yesterday was another reminder of how lucky we are to have someone like her. Moments like these make work feel lighter and more meaningful.

For lunch, we had a comforting meal with soup. The dish was Pochero, a Filipino favorite that always feels like home. It had pechay, tomatoes, saba bananas, and kamote. The warm soup was perfect, especially since it gave a comforting balance to the day. Eating a hearty lunch that like that gave me enough energy to finish the remaining hours of work.

At the end of the workday, I found myself amazed when I passed by the school's parking area. The sky was incredibly beautiful that made me pause for a moment. It felt like a gentle reward after a productive day, reminding me to slow down and appreciate simple views like that.

When I got home, another parcel had arrived, and this one made me really excited. It was the dried sweet pusit and fish tocino I ordered from online and it came from Cebu. I love how convenient things are now that you can even order food like this online. I cooked them right away for dinner, and they did not disappoint. Plus my mother added some fresh cut cucumber and cooked a miswa soup. She also re-heated the pochero that had left from our lunch. I saw that there were "tuyo" also left so I cooked them as well.

The dried pusit was crunchy and not too salty, while the fish tocino had just the right sweetness. My family loved both, and because of how good everything tasted, we ended up eating more than usual. It was the perfect way to end a smooth and satisfying day.

And that's it for today's blog! Thank you so much for dropping by and taking the time to read my simple life story. This means a lot to me! I hope you enjoyed it and see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us.π
