A Day of Talent, Confidence, and Sportmanship: Judging Ginoo at Binibini ng Palarong Pampaaralan 2025 (Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2025) on Closing Day!

Hello everyone! Hello my dear hivers in @hiveph community! This is me again “LJ” to share another Intramurals story with y’all!

Yesterday marked the third and final day of our Palarong Pampaaralan 2025 (Intramurals 2025), and it was truly an unforgettable celebration. The highlight of the closing event was the much-anticipated “Ginoo at Binibini ng Palarong Pampaaralan 2025” (Mr. and Ms. Intramurals 2025) pageant. Since I was chosen as one of the judges, I made sure to arrive early at school to prepare for the program.

By 9:00 a.m., the venue was already buzzing with excitement. Parents, students, and teachers had secured their places, their cheers and whispers filling the air with anticipation.

The program kicked off with a lively introduction number that immediately drew loud cheers from the crowd. The candidates stepped onto the stage with such poise and energy, setting the tone for an exciting conpetition.

The search was divided into 3 categories, the school uniform attire, sportswear, and the question and answer portion. Each round highlighted a different side of the contestants. The school uniform segment showcased their grace and discipline, while the sportswear portion reflected their athleticism and school spirit.

As for the Q&A portion, it was both thrilling and nerve-wracking. We, the 3 judges, each had the task of drawing random questions to be asked of the candidates.

I could feel the tension build every time a contestant stepped forward to answer. Despite the pressure, many of them delivered thoughtful and confident responses proving that their charm and beauty were matched by intelligence.

To keep the excitement balanced, there was a heartfelt duet performance for the intermission number. The singers’ voices blended beautifully. It was a wonderful reminder of the range of talents our students possess.

Another emotional highlight was the farewell walk of the outgoing Ms. Intramurals, who walked acrossed the stage gracefully while the audience applauded warmly, honoring her contributions and memories from the last year.

After the final scores were tallied, the winners were announced to the thunderous applause. Everyone seemed to agree with the results. The crowned Mr.and Ms. Intramurals truly deserved their titles. Their confidence, effort, and school pride were evident throughout every category.

To our surprise and delight, the school also recognized the efforts of the judging panel. We, the judges were awarded tokens of appreciation. A thoughtful gesture that made us feel valued for contributing to the success of the event. Receiving that token was a small but meaningful reminder of the teamwork and spirit behind the celebration.

As the program concluded and the audience slowly dispersed, I felt an overwhelming sense of pride in our school community. The closing of Intramurals 2025 wasn’t just about the competition and titles but it was a celebration of camaraderie, talent, and shared joy. Walking home with my appreciation token in hand, I couldn’t help but smile, grateful to have played a part in such a vibrant and memorable event.
