Another day, another story!
Hello, my fellow Hiverians…
Here’s another story worth telling—an amazing experience I had in Bunhayag. For those who don’t know, Bunhayag used to be a quiet and hidden place. Few had discovered its beauty, and yet I found it. That moment marked the beginning of something special—a burden placed in my heart for the kids in Bunhayag.
I am forever grateful for God’s work in my life, for bringing me to this place, and for letting me find these amazing children. It’s one of my greatest treasures to be part of their childhood stories and journey.
As we traveled by motorcycle, we passed by this stunning fire tree—its vibrant colors glowing in the light of the setting sun. The whole scene was peaceful, cool, and filled with a quiet kind of beauty. I truly love seeing trees like this. They’re not just beautiful—they’re awe-inspiring. Moments like these remind me of how wonderful God's creation really is.
As we arrived at the place, I was in awe—the sky was painted with breathtaking clouds, and the whole atmosphere felt like a masterpiece. It was truly mesmerizing, as if God Himself brushed the heavens with peace and beauty.
But wait this is not really the exact place where those kids are living this was just the beginning of my journey, I needed to walk around 5-7 minutes before I arrived in their house and so finally here I am.
Every time I arrive in their place, they have this sweet habit of welcoming me with bright smiles and helping hands. They never let me carry everything on my own. At that moment, they were excitedly talking about the Java plum. They wanted me to come over to their house so we could harvest it together—such a simple joy, yet so full of love and connection.
We arrived at the house of one of the kids—his name is Jeric. He was the one brave (and excited!) enough to climb the tree just to get those yummy, mesmerizing Java plums that had caught all our eyes. After gathering a good amount, we couldn't wait any longer—we eagerly ate them together, savoring every bite. It was a simple joy, but the kind that makes your heart full.
What a beautiful day it was—time well spent, memories made, and laughter shared. I am forever thankful for the lives of these kids. I enjoyed every moment, and as always, they welcomed me with open hearts into their place.
We had a groufie taken here—a simple snapshot of a precious moment. Some of the boys weren’t around, busy with their harvest, but their presence was still felt. It was a day full of smiles, laughter, and gladness. A truly precious memory I’ll always hold close to my heart.
It was a long day, yet so fulfilling. My heart is full, knowing that my time wasn’t wasted—not for nothing—but spent being a blessing in someone’s life, especially in the lives of those kids.
As I headed back home, the kids handed me a bunch of Java plums. “Bring this home,” they said, and I accepted it gladly, knowing how much effort they put into getting it just for me.
When I arrived home, I shared the story with my mother, sister, and two brothers—and when I showed them the Java plums, their faces lit up with excitement! They enjoyed it just as much as I did with the kids. That simple joy, shared across hearts and homes, made the day even more special.
This experience reminded me that true joy is often found in the simplest things—shared smiles, thoughtful gestures, and time spent with others. The journey to Bunhayag, the laughter of the kids, the taste of Java plums, and the warmth of home all made this day unforgettable.
I may have gone there hoping to be a blessing, but in the end, I was the one blessed—by their love, their joy, and their pure hearts. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. Until the next story, my heart remains full.
Wow that's kind of bond that we never forget it's so much memorable moments in our life.
