♻️From Recyclables to Runway: Our Gown for a Cause 👗
Hey guys, today is the day that we have been waiting for to share here to everyone of you. Before anything else I appreciate all the support here in Hive from day and day 2 and so during our preparation.
Welcome to our school, Bohol Island State University (BISU) - Candijay Campus. This was the new admin building and just finished last month and now it is even more presentable unlike before when I was in first year college.
Our College of Sciences Days happened last Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 21-22). We had our different contest on Monday and by Tuesday afternoon the official program starts and the search for Mr. and Ms. EcoTech 2026. Not only computer science students but also the environmentalist.
Before the very day of pageant contest, we had few days of sleepless nights during our preparation and as one of the close friend of our candidate I have to show full support, also I am grateful for my two creative classmates Darl and Jade who is our Designer of their costume.
Also it happened that we are stuck in the boarding house of our classmates where we created the costume because of the heavy rain yet I am grateful for their dedication just to finish this costume in time.
Here are photos of during our preparation and almost there in the final results. Sleepless nights may count yet it became a history that we will cherish forever. It was the first time for our college to have this they called "College Days".

What can u say to the results?
Their costume we're store in the boarding house of our classmate ~ Jade in which my former boarding house too. So, I asked Fe to take me a photo holding the costume of our male candidate and for the female it was already arranged on a box so I didn't dare touch it I might cause a problem hehe
Since I have a person whom I knew that would fit for Richelle's make over so I was in charge waiting for the make up artist and brought him here in the room where we had our preparation and as you can see here this is Richelle before stepping onto the stage of firsthand experience. I'm so proud of here courage for stepping out of her comfort zone.

As a close friend to Richelle it is in my heart to give my full support, not only at the back of stage but also in front. I was like running round and round. I run to the back to help her change for the next wear competition and then here in front to cheer her up and it is with love from the bottom of my heart. We had our 0.5 groufie picture here.
THE FOUR OF US! The lunch buddies that we're formed back in the very first year we stepped in college, not only my support but the full force of the four of us. I gave compliment for Richelle's giving her best. We are so proud of her.
Look them closely on the recycled materials that we created for this pageant contest. Win or Lose, they're already a winner in our hearts.
We are the 1st section of 3rd year students. As a former Mayor of our class I am so glad for the support of my other classmates for our candidates, this was the first time in our college (College of Sciences).
Phew, what a day. I was able to arrived home around 7-8pm yet it was a fulfilling day knowing that it is finally done. No more sleepless nights yet I learned so many impactful lessons. Not only for myself but also for my surrounding. This year's search for Mr. and Ms. EcoTech and the theme of bridging technology to help the environment without compromising is such a huge lessons that must be given a priority.
