From Decorations to Ocean Vibes 🌊 : A Bride-to-Be Celebration 🎉

Hello everyone! How are you all doing?
I guess each of us has our own way of handling life these days. After a busy week, it feels so good to be back on my laptop to write again—not just simple writing, but something interesting.
Last Friday was a beautiful day.

The sunrise was lovely, and everything was well-arranged and planned—it was our surprise bridal shower for one of our D-group members who’s getting married on June 12.I had a very quiet yet exhausting day, but it was all worth it. After the surprise and seeing it all come together successfully, I felt fulfilled.

Before the day of surprising Shane, we had already visited different rooms for check-in and decided to choose a couple's room worth 990 pesos (around $17.78). Special thanks to Ate Jean’s sponsor for making it possible

After two hours of preparation, we were finally ready to surprise her—and she was truly surprised!
Her reaction was so pure and innocent, like she had absolutely no idea what was coming. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to capture the exact moment of her reaction, but we did get a video of her opening the door. As soon as she saw everything, she cried—it was that emotional and unexpected for her.
She even asked why we didn’t tell her beforehand so she could prepare—she wasn’t wearing any makeup and just had on a regular shirt, nothing formal or fancy. But hey, it was a surprise—why would we tell her, right? Hahaha!
Thankfully, her cousin brought her a dress so she could change, and we were able to take a lovely group photo with the simple but beautiful setup in the background.

We also brought her a cake that said "Bride-to-Be," which she was holding while we took our group photo.

We had a little program during the surprise, and of course, we played some games! One was a scavenger hunt, and the other was a wedding-themed guessing game. In that game, one person from each group would act out a wedding-related word, and the rest had to guess what it was.
Unfortunately, our group didn’t win that one—the bride’s team did! Haha, they were really good at it.

After the program ended, it was time for dinner. Special thanks again to Ate Jean, who ordered the bride’s favorite—delicious spaghetti—along with creamy carbonara and tasty sandwiches. Everything was so good! We ended the day with full stomachs and happy hearts.

And since the place we checked into had a pool—and the water wasn’t too cold—we didn’t even need to talk about it. We just jumped in and enjoyed a night swim! I really had such a great time.

After that big day for her, it was finally time for us to rest. As for me, I was really exhausted—not just from our part in setting up the decorations, but also because of the intense heat that day. The high heat index really drained me.

So, there I was, finally in bed, ready to sleep—feeling tired but happy. And thank goodness we had an air-conditioned room! No more complaints about the heat—I could finally relax in comfort after such a fulfilling day.

And now that morning has come, it’s time for me to explore the place. I was the first one to wake up—as early as 5 AM—so I took the chance to stroll around and check out the ocean.

Look what I found: a peaceful and quiet surrounding, with gentle waves rolling in. It was still low tide at that time, but I knew it would rise later on. The calmness of the morning and the sound of the waves made it such a refreshing and soul-soothing moment.

Meanwhile, I thought of checking out the other rooms around the area. They also have cute little cottages—all simple yet charming, just like you can see in the picture.
There were also chairs and tables set up for guests who are waiting or simply want to sit, relax, and take in the peaceful beauty of the resort. It’s such a calm and welcoming place.

After a while of strolling around, I noticed that the ocean had already reached high tide. So, I walked toward the water and took a few selfies before going in for a swim.

It was really awesome—I loved it! There wasn’t much sea grass either, which made me even happier. Happy me!

Finally, I got into the water—and there were lots of blue starfish! At first, I was a little scared to touch them, but I overcame my fear and ended up holding one. It was a pretty cool experience!
I swam and enjoyed the ocean for a while, then headed back to the pool since time was running out and it was almost check-out time.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to take one there.

Their reception area is quite simple and not very elegant yet, but that’s totally understandable since the resort only opened last December 1, 2024. They’re still in the process of improving the place—working on making it more beautiful, accessible, safe, and comfortable for guests. I can see they’re committed to giving their best service as they continue to grow.

As I come to the end of this little story of mine, let me express my heartfelt gratitude for the entire experience.
It was such a wonderful and memorable day—from pulling off a successful surprise for our bride-to-be, to enjoying fun games, sharing delicious food, and making the most of our cozy stay. I was especially happy to spend time swimming both in the pool and in the ocean, where I even faced my fear of holding a starfish!

Even though the resort is still developing, Belleza truly gave us a peaceful, refreshing escape—one that made me pause, breathe, and just appreciate the simple joys. It was a good night and an even better day, and I’m walking away from it all with a full heart and a grateful spirit.
