Let me introduce you to one of Panglao’s most beautiful gems — South Farm and Prawn Farm Restaurant, open daily from 8 AM to 8 PM. A place I once only admired from afar, quietly wishing that one day I could step into its peaceful and picturesque surroundings… and finally, that wish was granted. 💚
But this trip wasn’t just about ticking off a dream destination from my list — it came with a beautiful story behind it. I was there because of work, serving and assisting the family of our Senior Pastor. After ten long years in Norway, his daughter finally came home to the Philippines with her family. Married to a Norwegian, she returned not just for a vacation, but for a meaningful reunion filled with love and memories in the making.
Nanay Ladia, Pastor Jose’s wife, asked me a favor — to stay at their home and help take care of the grandchildren and assist with household tasks. And so, wherever they went, I went too. 😄

Little did I know that my journey as an assistant would also lead me to moments like this — standing in one of my dream places, realizing that sometimes God grants our wishes in ways we don’t expect. 🌿

🌿 Let Me Tour You Inside… 🌿
As you step inside, near the Prawn Farm Restaurant and the fish pond area, you’ll immediately notice a unique and charming way to explore the place — a small mop-style ride that tours you around the farm.
From there, you’ll begin to picture the true beauty hidden inside — wide open spaces, peaceful surroundings, and the refreshing view of nature all around. The calm water from the ponds, the greenery, and the relaxing farm atmosphere instantly make you feel like you’ve escaped the busy world outside.
Every corner feels picture-perfect, and as the tour moves along, you can’t help but admire how beautifully maintained the farm is. It’s not just a restaurant — it’s an experience.🌾✨

The food? Absolutely delicious and incredibly satisfying.
We had our lunch at the Prawn Farm Restaurant, and it was truly delicious and satisfying. Every dish was fresh and flavorful, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Good food, great place, and happy hearts. 🤍✨

📸 Of course, a 0.5 groupie wouldn’t be missed! 😄
Thank you so much, Felicia and the Vego Family, for the wonderful time together. And thank you to Prawn Farm for giving us such a delicious and memorable lunch experience. Truly a day to be grateful for.
Here we are, one big happy family ❣️
This is the entrance before going inside, a perfect spot for photo opportunities with your family. Even from the entrance, you can already feel the warmth and beauty of the place. 🌿📸
It also serves as a landmark that guides visitors going inside (chariz 😄). That’s why it’s important to preserve and maintain it as much as possible. It’s not just an entrance — it’s part of the place’s identity and charm.
ONE FRAME but FULL OF MEMORIES🌿

🦜 Parakeets Encounter 🦜
We also met these adorable parakeets, a family of parrots. Feeding them was such a fun and ticklish experience — one of the best moments of the trip! They were so cute and playful, and being around them made me genuinely happy. It felt like I was a child again, simply enjoying the moment

🌊 The Most Relaxing View 🌿
One of my favorite spots was the fish pond — so peaceful and wonderful to look at while enjoying our lunch. Many people were also sitting nearby, patiently waiting for their orders, simply soaking in the calm atmosphere.
The ambiance felt so relaxing, especially while sitting and staring at the beautiful fish pond that almost looks like a big lake. It truly gave a sense of peace and comfort — a perfect place to unwind and just breathe.

Here I am — capturing selfies here, photos there, and snapshots everywhere, simply enjoying and cherishing every moment of being here.
Looking back at this picture now makes my heart humble. It reminds me that everything I get to experience, every beautiful place I visit, is by God’s grace. Truly, I am nothing without Him in my life. 🤍

The grandsons of our dear Senior Pastor had so much fun feeding the rabbits for the first time — and honestly, I enjoyed it just as much! It was such a blast, bringing out the kid in all of us and creating joyful memories together.

I explored the farm as far as I could, and look what I discovered! It was my first time seeing a black pig, which I think might be a wild pig, and a goat that’s definitely not ordinary — such unique animals added to the excitement of the day. Every corner of the farm had something new to see and enjoy!

I haven’t tried riding a horse before, but I got to ride a carabao instead! Just look at its back — so cute! 😄 I enjoyed every moment, and the experience was truly worth it. It was fun, unique, and something I’ll never forget.

I really enjoyed watching the beautiful koi fish and soaking in the peaceful moments of being here. Honestly, the entrance fee and everything else can be costly, but I’m so thankful to God for giving me this rare and special opportunity to experience it.

I was truly amazed to see this huge turtle — a tortoise! Its size and calm presence left me in awe. Such a remarkable creature and a memorable part of my farm adventure!🐢

📸 Ending on Smiles 😄✨
And last but not least, we captured selfies filled with each other’s different and amazing smiles — moments that truly reflect joy and togetherness. I am incredibly thankful to God and to this wonderful family for including me in their amazing journey.
This experience wasn’t just about visiting a beautiful place — it was about laughter, new discoveries, and cherished memories that I will treasure forever. Truly, a day full of blessings and gratitude!
