Wonderful Experience Eating Halo-Halo and Pancake Bites (Classic) Wherein the Staff was Approachable and Easy to Deal With at Pancake House in Camp John Hay, Baguio City

Hello Hivers, how are you today, I hope everyone is having a great time. Yesterday, I got the chance to order what they served in one of the pancake house and cafe at Ayala Camp John Hay, Baguio City. When my sister and I went there, we didn't try to stop and have snack, we just passed by and ordered chicken and rice at the 7/11 next to it so I don't know what was there before.

The reason why I was there yesterday it's because my friend had an errand which was she applied at Concentric Baguio. So, I decided to accompany her since I'm free. So, for me not to get bored, I texted her that I'm going to have snack because it's already late in the afternoon and it's getting dusk. By the way, it was afternoon when we headed there. Going back, I entered the pancake house and a staff welcomed me to come in since I'm just gazing towards her, and she even opened the door for me. I asked her which seat is appropriate for only one wherein I'm solely the one to eat. She then show the table beside me which can cater four costumers. She handed me their menu and left me with smile. I'm astonished about the price because most of the food was pricey. There were varieties to order in my thought it's only pancake because of the name outside as: PANCAKE HOUSE SINCE 1974", so I guess they only serve pancakes but I was wrong. At the end, I have chosen the one that I can pay. Because I want to eat halo-halo even it's a bit cold, I didn't hesitate to order it. I asked the staff there to get my orders. I ordered a type of Pancake Bites which is the classic one which no pictures so im curious of it, and a halo-halo. The staff also offered me a drink if I would like to try one but I just smile and said, "I would like to but I think I'm satisfied with my order with a smile. She told me then to wait for it, fo at least fifteen to twenty-minutes. The signal was weak so i couldn't watch on TikTok but I can receive messages in messenger.

While waiting, I looked around. I'm amazed how the surrounding of the pancake house well-ventilated and cozy. Everything was clean and tidy. As i noticed , I was only the customer who was there waiting for my friend.

Then my ordered came, she brought the halo-halo first. Because the ice not yet melted and was difficult to mix the ingredients as it was loaded with a lot of ingredients, I set aside it first. A few minutes passed, my second order arrived. I'm surprised about the classic. It's a bite-sized versions of pancakes but shaped like a ball. What most pleased me was the syrup because I thought it's a honey but it was a maple syrup. I didn't waste time and tasted it. The maple syrup complemented with the pancake bites. But, the maple syrup was to sweet so as a person who limit her intake in sweets, I just put little of it. The classic was soft and taste normal pancake. I can rate it as 8.5 as over all taste. While I'm eating the food, I messaged my friend about her application and she said that she needs to stay. Luckily, she met a friend - her fellow applicant who also needs to wait for the next step.

After, I ate the pancake bites, I tried to eat the halo-halo and it tasted good and they did not limit the ingredients. There's a sugar palm fruit; mung beans; sweetened chickpeas; jackfruit; purple yam jam; milk; and others that i don't know the name. When I'm in just three scoop, I lose my appetite because maybe I ate also a sweet one which is they are both eaten at the end of the meal. But it's not a waste wherein I can take it out. I asked the one that served to put it on to the Halo-Halo container. I'm delighted that the staff was polite and approachable. She was with another staff I don't know if she's the manager there because she's also the one that give me my change.

So, after I paid my order and get the halo-halo that I did not consumed, I asked the the lady if I could stay for a bit since it's cold outside. She answered me yes when exactly my friend messaged me that I can go home because she's not yet finished with the assessment and I'm also feeling cold at the time as it rained so I feel at ease when she said that I can leave and it's also getting dark already. I rushed towards the jeep and rode to the town and transfer in another jeep going to my sister's apartment.
