Hello everyone!
Today was another busy day here on our farm. As I wake up this morning, everyone was already busy with their own tasks. Our farm was full of activity because we finally started preparing the area where we plan to build our new farmhouse.

Our current farmhouse is only a small nipa hut. It has been our place whenever we spend time on the farm, but it was never designed for a big family. It only has one small bedroom and a tiny kitchen. Whenever our family or friends visit us, they cannot stay overnight because there is simply not enough space. That is why my husband and I decided that it is finally time to build a bigger and more comfortable farmhouse where our family can gather and our guests can feel at home.

This morning, we had several trees cut down because they were standing right where the new house will be built. We also requested gravel and hollow blocks, and thankfully they were delivered today. We even hired three workers to clean the fallen trees and arrange the lumber so the area would be neat and ready for construction. Looking at the cleared space made me excited because I can already imagine what our future farmhouse will look like.
Of course, building a house is not easy, especially when it comes to finances. We had already saved money from several harvests for this project, but life had different plans for us. The money we prepared had to be used first to pay the remaining hospital expenses of my mother-in-law. It was a large amount, and I won't deny that it was a little heartbreaking because we had worked so hard to save it. But at the end of the day, I know we made the right decision. A house can always wait, but the health of someone we love is far more important.

After spending almost every day at the hospital, I finally had time to cook. A few days ago, my brother, who came from Lebak, gave me some fresh seafood. I wasn't able to prepare it immediately because we were always busy at the hospital, but today I finally had the chance.

I cooked the crabs for our workers and family, and everyone enjoyed them. They were so fresh and delicious, although we made sure not to eat too much for health reasons. I also prepared a refreshing melon juice using the sweet melons harvested from my father's farm. It was the perfect drink after everyone spent hours working under the hot sun.

As I looked around today, I realized that even though life has given us unexpected challenges, it has also blessed us in many ways. We may have postponed our dream house for a while, but we are slowly moving forward. With God's guidance, hard work, and the support of our family, I know that everything will happen at the right time.

Thank you so much for reading my story. This is my owned picture and edited in Canva. May God bless us all, and may we always have grateful hearts no matter what season of life we are in.
Have a nice day!

Thank you so much! I hope our farmhouse will be finished soon. Even if it doesn't turn out exactly as we planned, what matters most is that we will finally have a place we can call our own. And yes, the seafood was so delicious!
