Hello Hivean, how are you all? Merry Christmas!

Christmas is fast approaching, and truly we can feel it already through the decorations around the malls, markets, churches, plazas and even at home.

Today I am joining this challenge of @hiveph Day 2, which is all about the 1 Hivean I first met on the blockchain, so I guess a friend on a screen and another Hivean whom I already knew, but I want to get to know her more, which I mean a friend in my heart.

Let me share with you this woman who has been a friend in my screen, who is sis @lolitaanana001 . I will call here sis now, because she's like a sister for me. I am inspired by her postings through reading her blogs. When I saw her profile and her address was Lapu-Lapu City, I was impressed by what a small world it is because we live in the same province here in Cebu. Every time there comes a game of challenges in this hive blog, I will mention it here, and she will also in return. We helped each other grow in this platform, though we're the same as newbies, but we learned every little thing here through giving efforts and loving what we're doing.

I was inspired by her being consistent on blogging through sharing her glimpse every day. We've exchanged conversations on comments, and though we haven't met personally yet, I feel comfortable with her. How much more if we meet personally? Hehe, hoping for that to come, sis @lolitaanaa. I will be glad that we will meet personally soon.

And another friend whom I cherished in my heart is @ellen143 , to whom I owe gratitude for introducing me to this platform, Hive Blog. Though I've known here because we're just living in the same barangay, might be a neighbor also and we exchange conversations but I want to build a strong relationship with her as a friend and my fellow hivean. At first I was hesitant because I don't know how, and she said those encouraging words that hit me hard. She said you will be true to yourself when posting, sharing your thoughts, journey, cuisine discovery and much more. That was the time she introduced herself, one year ago, when I was in Manila for my health recovery. I remembered it was January when she introduced me to this Hive blog. This isn't about the income but all about sharing my stories to inspire others and reading and commenting on posts of others to uplift them, especially those facing struggles. I didn't grab the opportunity that time because I didn't have a laptop with me, because it's best to use a laptop so that I can concentrate upon doing my story. Also, I didn't have much time way back then because my doctor limited me on screen time because I was in a period of recovery after the heart surgery. Though I've known her personally, we haven't had time to catch up on things.

Our messenger conversation of ellen143.

Time passes by, and it's August this year. I grab the opportunity; I ask my friend, and that's the time she recommended Ms Antonette as our mentor for this platform. I've undergone virtual training through Ms Antonette, who explained everything to me: the do's and don'ts, the rules, the engagement thingy, and much more. So much for that. In my mind, would I be successful for this? Would I grow in this community, not just having friends but also developing my skills in writing and making articles? That was the query that came to my mind upon hearing the virtual training for the first time. I don't know the pasikot-sikot in this platform, then she suggested creating an introductory post and having an account here in Hive, and that's how my story began. I did an exploration, searching those communities where I can share my niches. That's when the time my negativity comes to positivity. I invest time and effort through this Hive blog platform, and that's what I am thankful for, my friend ellen143, though she hasn't been active for a while; maybe she's just busy. She said that she was working, and due to her hectic schedule, she can't have time to visit this blog. I understand her very well because she's a working mum also.

And that's the story behind my two friends whom I've known on my screen and in my heart. I would be forever grateful for these two who have been my anchor on sailing this Hive blog.

Until my next blog... See you.
