Restocking healthy daily food supplies for the family; fresh, high-quality goods and affordable prices at Loon, Bohol🫚🥕.

Since we had run out of fruit, staples, and especially vegetables at home, my husband and I decided to go to the market to restock our food for the week especially since it is market day in Loon, Hello to my fellow Hivers, friends, and followers, especially to the active lovely members of @hiveph it's me again @clarabels How are you this fine Thursday I Hope you're doing well stay hydrated everyone😊 for today's blog, I am excited to share with you all about market day here at loon, Bohol. Without further Ado let's go 🩷

This morning, my husband and I immediately traveled to Loon to go to the market, since today is market day. As soon as we entered the Loon market, I spotted these carrots priced at 90 pesos per kilo. I was surprised when the vendor even offered to lower the price to 85 pesos, since they were on sale🥕.

On the other side, they also had plump, fresh ginger straight from the mountains priced at 60 pesos per kilo, but the vendor agreed to let me have it for 50 pesos per kilo since they still had a huge stock.
I was happy about this, because ginger is a spice we use most at home. My husband and my baby loves soup dishes, especially (utan-law-oy) mixed vegetable stew and my husband really works up a sweat slurping the broth whenever there’s plenty of ginger in it😊🫚.

Up ahead, you can see various kinds of vegetables displayed for sale.
It is very satisfying staring colorful vegetables, especially since my baby loves eating all kinds of vegetables particularly squash😊.

We also bought oranges that were on sale for 8 pesos apiece, and their apples were 10 pesos each☺️.

This is how busy the shoppers are here at the Loon market. This particular section is where rice is sold specifically upland rice or what we called here in Cebuano language (BUKID RICE) that has been freshly milled.

We also saw our neighbor busy attending to customers for the vegetables she was selling.

On our way home, my husband and I were happy and satisfied with the healthy food we bought for our family it was very fresh, and at the same time, we managed to save money this week🫶.
