Where the Mangroves Meet the Sea: Discovering a Hidden Beach in Bacolod🌴🌊

Hello, hivefam🌊! I hope everyone is having a beautiful day. Today, I’m sharing another little adventure with friends on one of those unexpected and hidden places in Bacolod, Lanao del Norte🌿🌊.

This unexpected trip started when one of my friends who lived in Bacolod invited us to explore their places! So she told us about this hidden gem and we decided to visit it.

The location was located far from the national road so we had to walk for 30 minutes! We even passed by bamboo trees on the way. It was honestly a tiring walk lol but the view? It was worth it!

The spot was tucked away near a stretch of mangroves. It wasn't the typical crowded beach destination, which made the place even more special. And there are old ruined houses too as you can see in the image!

While I was there, I observed the quiet surroundings, fresh sea breeze, and the natural scenery gave us the perfect little escape to relax, laugh, and enjoy each other's company. I almost fell asleep sitting on one of the rocks because the sound of the sea could lull you to relax.

We ate our snacks there. And we spent at least two hours there just sightseeing and talking while feeling the sea around us.

Even the trees were swaying with the wind. There were no houses nearby so it was only the sea accompanying us. And I just love it there!

At the end of the trip, I realized that it was one of those simple trips that didn't need much planning because you just need good friends, a beautiful place, and a little curiosity about what was waiting beyond the mangroves. And that you only need a dash of spontaneity, exploring spirit and a companion that would walk with you for long minutes to a destination.
