Begonnen hat der National Batman Day mit der Comiccon 2014 in San Diego und dem 75. Jubiläum des dunklen Ritters.
Ähnlich wie zum Gratis-Comic-Tag hat man heute auch die Möglichkeit gehabt, an ausgewählten Standorten einen Gratis-Batman-Comic zu bekommen. Leider gab es jeoch keinen Comic-Shop in meiner Gegend, der dran teilgenommen hat.

Ich habe mir ein paar Exemplare aus unserer Film-Bibliothek herausgesucht und als erstes fiel meine Wahl auf einen Animationsfilm "Batman - The Killing Joke". Den Filme habe ich vor ein paar Wochen von meinem Schwager geschenkt bekommen und bislang habe ich diesen noch nicht gesehen. Die Story ist mir allerdings von den Comics her bekannt.

Den ersten Film habe ich fertig und als zweiten Film des Abend habe ich mir den dritten Teil der Dark-Knight-Trilogie (The Dark Knight Rises) ausgesucht. Trotz der überragend gespielten Rolle des Jokers von Heath Ledger finde ich den letzten Teil der Trilogie am Besten.
I finished watching the first film and chose the third part of the Dark Knight trilogy (The Dark Knight Rises) as the second film of the evening. Despite Heath Ledger's outstanding performance as the Joker, I think the last part of the trilogy is the best.
Bevor die Nacht dann zu Neige geht, werde ich mir noch ein bisschen "Batman hält die Welt in Atem" ansehen.
Adam West war vielleicht nicht der beste Batman, aber der erste.
