Eigentlich sollte es bei mir nur einen Dry-January geben. Diesen habe ich jedoch verlängert bis zur Karnevalswoche in diesem Jahr. Anschließend kamen mehrere bei uns auf die gute Idee, nach Karneval bis Ostern zu Fasten. Bei mir verlängerte sich somit abermals die trockene Zeit bis zum Osterwochenende. Da an diesem Wochenende auch wieder das Workout Chad (1000 Box-Step-Ups) geplant war, habe ich für mich festgelegt, das ich bis zu diesem Workout keinen Alkohol trinke, um zu sehen, ob dieses Auswirkungen hat auf meine Leistung in diesem Workout. Allerdings wurde dann der Termin für dieses Workout verschoben.
Also lebe ich derzeit immer noch ein alkoholfreies Leben.

I was actually planning to do Dry January. However, we extended it until Carnival week this year. After that, several of us had the great idea to fast from after Carnival until Easter. So for me, the dry spell was extended once again until Easter weekend. Since the Chad workout (1,000 box step-ups) was scheduled for that weekend as well, I decided not to drink any alcohol until that workout to see if it would affect my performance. However, the date for that workout was then postponed.
So I’m still living an alcohol-free life at the moment.

Bei einem Besuch in den Niederlanden vor ein paar Tagen habe ich ein Leffe Bruine in der alkoholfreien Variante gefunden, was ich zum Probieren mitgenommen habe.

Der Geruch ist sehr malzig. Die Farbe gefällt mir sehr gut und auch die Krone kann überzeugen.

Beim Geschmack erinnert der erste Eindruck erinnert tatsächlich an ein richtiges Leffe "Bruine". Das hält jedoch nicht sehr lange an, dann schmeckt man nur noch sehr malzige Noten, die schon fast an ein Malzbier erinnern.

Das Bier ist vom Geschmack her ganz in Ordnung. Es erinnert zwar nur ein bisschen an ein richtiges "Bruine" aber vom Geschmack her ist das Bier als Gesamtes schon in Ordnung. Leider ist der Preis dafür nicht in Ordnung. Das Geld würde ich dafür nicht ein zweites mal ausgeben.

Thanks for mentioning me. As for non-alcoholic beers, I’d probably agree with you. I’ve tried a lot of them, of course, but most were absolutely terrible. The only one I could barely tell apart was Leffe Blonde. So I believe that the non-alcoholic Leffe Brune is actually a pretty good beer.
