Scottish Beer Breakfast
Hello Hivians and all you beer lovers.
It's Saturday, which means it's #beersaturday, not that you need an excuse to drink a beer of course!
Had stuff to do in town...
... which including testing the morning service of this pub!
And I am not one to turn down a free beer and some grub.
Christmas is coming.
The older I get the more I like getting into the Christmas spirit. Maybe it is a bit of subconscious feet stomping at what is happening in the UK, we are a Christian country after all!
These guys always do some good Christmas grub, and the turkey is usually well worth it!
Corona and Budweiser
I am sure there will be a bucket load of these being drunk next year at the world cup from the Scottish fans or tartan army!
A pint of Corona with the obligatory slice of lime.
I must admit I do love the branded glasses!
But if you go to this chain and order that drink combo you will get shithot service as they think you are there to grade them...

The food was tasty and piping hot, another bonus when you do the Corona and Budweiser combo order.
Mind you I can leave the beans at breakfast and have something else!
It all still washes down well with beer of course.
I love glasses and this water dispenser too. You can get a good view of the whole bar from here. And we were at table 3 right down at the far end. But of course this photo shows you fluff all...

The only time I drink beer so early is when I'm at the beach! So, are you thinking of going to the World Cup next year? They also make delicious morcilla here in Carúpano, which is very famous in the country. My breakfasts are lighter. That could be lunch for me. A Sunday hug.
Yes it was a brunch (breakfast and lunch combined) lol The World Cup probably not, since 1998 The Scottish Football Association have tried to kill Rangers so we don't really like them lol! Sunday hug for the week ahead

I really like the branded glass cup, I also like the setting of the bar everywhere is neat. It will attracts more people to come and drink beer

For real, you get a beer with breakfast? That's a totally new one for me. Things really are quite different over there! :) I went out for breakfast myself the other day, but I got an omelet. It was a three egg job and I could only eat half of it.
The pubs in Scotland start serving alcohol at 10 am, so yes was a couple of beers before 11 hehe
