New Beer Budweiser Royale

Good evening my friends and fellow beer lovers. This is Week 449 Of The Beer Saturday Challenge by @detley and you are all welcome to @sarahbaby blog.

This week is about a new beer that was introduced into the market, It is called BUDWEISER ROYALE.

Budweiser Royale is a new super premium beer recently introduced in Nigeria by International Breweries PLC, a member of the global brewing group AB in Bev. It is the company behind the broader Budweiser family. The launch of Budweiser Royale took place in Lagos in late 2025.

December 2025, my supplier introduced Budweiser Royale to me. I was surprised when I first saw it, the bottle is a kind of golden dark brown with a golden label which makes it looks classy and different from the regular beers my customers were used to.

When I introduced it to my customers, they always asked, "How does it taste?" I thought of it, as a beer lover, it will be right if I taste my new product before recommending it to others, so I can speak from experience if I'm asked the taste.

After the days activities, i wanted to reward myself with a chilled bottle of beer and fried fish because I always accompanies my beer with something, then the thought came to me that it's time to taste my Budweiser Royale. I bought some fried fish, brought out a bottle of My chilled Budweiser Royale, and sat down to enjoy it.

The taste was smooth and bold, with a rich flavour that stood out nicely. Budweiser Royale has a higher alcoholic content about 6% which gives it a different vibe compared to regular lagers, and yes it's easy to enjoy, i can confidently introduce Budweiser Royale to anyone. Yes I can honestly say it tastes good.
