Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and outlying communities!

You might have noticed that I start almost all my posts with the above line, and the reason behind that is that many of the communities we have her on Hive are connected to Hive-Engine and have their own side-chain front ends called "Outposts." So, to my mind, that makes them "outlying communities..."

I Love Caturday!

Saturday is Caturday and it is definitely my favorite day of the week, even though my Hoomans do make great efforts to make all days Caturday.

In case you weren't aware, Caturday is a very old web tradition that started in the early 00's on the huge 4chan message board community... it all started with "post some cats on Saturday."

There's actually more to it than that, but this is a family show!

Creativity Time!

Now that all the holiday decorations are long gone from the house, the Hoomans have returned to their favorite creative endeavors... and I love to help out with that!

The fun part of their particular art projects is that they involve lots of little objects I can carry off and bat around on the floor.

Or simply knock off the table!

How we Know the Earth is NOT Flat...

For anyone who has cats in their lives, you know our fondness for knocking things off tables and shelves onto the floor.

We also know that the Earth can't possibly be flat because that would mean it has an edge, and that also means that the cats would have knocked everything off the edge of the world by now! There'd be nothing here, anymore!

Hence, the Earth must be round.

This must be a sleeping spot for ME!

Crypto Signs of Life?

The mood around the house also seems a little more positive since the crypto markets seem to be showing signs of life.

Before we go around calling this "a recovery," let's keep in mind that we are merely back to where we were before the whole FTX/Alameda circus sent everything into a tailspin.

Which is probably as it should be, since it's not crypto's fault that SBF is a crook. He's just a crook. Like Bernie Madoff was a crook. Bernie Madoff defrauding clients of $68 billion didn't make the legacy securities markets a scam...

With that thought in mind, I guess it's time for me to get back "on duty" with supervising the Hoomans' creativity projects!

Caturday Community by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS! It has a lot of subscribers but is not very active.

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community; it's there, but not very active.

Last, but certainly not least, a special shoutout to the Hive Pets Community which has become quite active and typically has quite a bit of cat content!

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
