Dar clases

Este año descubrí mi manera favorita de aprender:
enseñando.
La clase la vivo desde que la pienso, y me imagino las posibles preguntas,
de mis curiosos e inteligentes estudiantes.
Ellos cuestionan, me piden información y que les trace un camino
para que sigan por su propia cuenta.
Es estimulante y retador preparar estas clases:
quiero incluir lo que dicen los libros,
y lo que nos cuenta el día a día de este contemporaneidad:
IA, conflictos bélicos, therians, ozempic, y ahora, desastres naturales.
Me voy por las ramas por momentos, pero ellos me ayudan a regresar,
igual aprovecho el tiempo, condenso varios puntos en pocos minutos y aprendo,
creánme, aprendo...

This year, I discovered my favorite way to learn:
by teaching.
I live the class from the moment I start planning it,
imagining the potential questions
from my curious and intelligent students.
They question things, ask for information, and want me to map out a path
for them to follow on their own.
Preparing these classes is both stimulating and challenging:
I want to include what the books say,
as well as what our daily lives in these modern times reveal:
AI, armed conflicts, therians, Ozempic, and now, natural disasters.
I sometimes go off on tangents, but they help me get back on track;
I make the most of the time anyway, condensing several points into just a few minutes,
and I learn—believe me, I learn...
