It's On! Tracking My Way Out of My Old Life

I'm so loving how my life has been going since this year, it's from one "first time" to another. The most exciting part is, I find myself enjoying every one of them even though they feel hard at some point. Indeed, information is power and my life for the past months have been proving that fact.

I didn't just start journaling for the first time this year. As a matter of fact, I started on the 4th day of the year to show that I had no plans for that kind of habit. But today, I have an update journal, with information and growth visible enough to keep coming back to it so I could keep writing.

So I could keep up with journaling things that will excite or make me proud of myself, my daily activities slowly began to change from just going on autopilot to doing a few things intentionally with the mind of growth and so that I will have nice and cool things to write on my journal daily.

Doing things intentionally led me into new habits, habits that I wouldn't do before because I thought they were too good for me, time consuming and a waste of time. These habits are what people live with like it's so normal with them but I struggled so hard to even start adopting a few.

Well, I learned to appreciate and love myself more. That shift changed how I live my life now and it led me to intentionally building new habits that will take me out of my old self completely. It's been a bit on and off since I started but my journal time feels better, and I created a thing.

I created a habit tracker to intentionally track them for the month of May and hopefully, continue from there. I got the habit tracker idea while I was watching a video online and it has helped me a lot in just thinking about how satisfying it will be when I keep up with a tracker.

So yeah, this post is simply about sharing my habit tracker update and how I came to have one. I'm excited about crossing off all the ones I did today, tonight. Looking forward to not missing a day or a habit in between. You can share what you do to build new habits, I am still learning.
