The Pettiest Thing That Ruined My Mood Today
Hello, midnight owls. I just woke up from a really good sleep, and I find it funny that while others are currently getting theirs, I am back up, ready to become an owl for the night.
It is currently 3:00 a.m. here, and everything around me has gone silent. I think many people slept early today because the weather became cool after a light rainfall. That calmness in my environment makes this moment perfect for enjoying the quiet night, and I absolutely love it.
I wish my entire day had been this serene, without any turbulence, because something rather unserious affected me earlier and changed the course of my day.
I was in the middle of an important task when my phone rang. When I checked the screen, I saw a strange number. I paused, trying to figure out who it could be, because that particular contact is personal and reserved for my family and close friends. So, it was impossible to think that a random person would have it.
As I thought about answering the phone, the call ended. Less than two minutes later, my phone rang again. It was the same number. This time, I forced myself to pick up, but I was met with silence. That did not sit well with me. I mean, who calls someone intentionally and stays silent? After about five minutes, the call ended.
I decided to call back so I could ask who they were and how they got my number. To my surprise, I could not reach them. The number was unavailable, and it remained that way for the rest of the day. That situation pissed me off so bad, and it is still on my mind tonight.
As someone who overthinks and struggles with phone call anxiety, situations like this are difficult to navigate. But I am trying to help myself by letting go of the intrusive thoughts I'm having and settling down to watch a movie now that I am awake. I do hope the caller never tries that again, though.

I've experienced similar situations a couple of times before now, especially with my private line. Most times, the calls are spams whenever I check through Trucaller.
I think it's just best you don't let the incidence bother you again.
