Night versus Day Prompt #24

Everywhere you turned to, there is movement, people going about their businesses, vehicles honking, voices calling out. In my country the Sun blasts so high making the weather uncomfortable for us to enjoy the day.

During the day, it is not just the noise and the scorching sun that makes things overwhelming, but also the constant reports and complaints from the children. One minute they need something, the next minute there's another issue to attend to. At the same time, I am trying to balance my sales and still make sure food is ready for my family. It becomes a continuous cycle of hustling and bustling, moving from one responsibility to another, even if you want to take a nap or perhaps have a quiet time, it seems unattainable because there will always be distractions.

But the night is quite the opposite, when you're outdoor in your compound, everywhere is calm with the gentle breeze caressing your skin you will quickly doze off.

At night, everyone would be asleep, the children are quite, resting peacefully. There are no reports, no complaints, no business to attend to, and no hustling and bustling. The noise of the day fades away, giving rise to a calm and peaceful atmosphere. It is in those moments that I finally get to rest, pray, read and meditate with out distractions.

The night gives me opportunity to write my posts with a settled mind and enjoy a sense of calmness that the busy daytime rarely allows.

Therefore if I should say, I prefer night time because of its calmness and rest you will enjoy instead of the busy activities of the day.
