Honestly, resisting the urge to jump on this week’s prompt this early has been really hard. I was on my way to the lecture room yesterday morning when i saw the post notification on my blog, and just like i do most times, i opened the post link to know if i’ll be participating this week or not. Guess what guys ? The moment i saw this bolden text; “GREATEST SERIES OF ALL TIMES”, i knew this prompt was just for me and nobody else. Upon sighting that, I already knew what my greatest series of all time was. I was just so happy to see a topic that really resonates with me so well being brought up…

Movies, especially series has been my thing for as long as i can remember…

Talking about my series of all time, the first series that came to my mind immediately i saw this prompt earlier this morning was “THE ORIGINALS”. This was the first series that ever made it for me, it also happened to be the first series that popped into my head immediately after i sighted the topic. I just knew this was the best time to sell this old but golden Hollywood series to the public again. If only i knew beforehand, i would have not read the whole content of this week’s prompt announcement post. Atleast without it I wouldn’t be as confused as i am right now, and this confusion arose when i saw it written clearly in the post content that “THE BLACKLIST” is that one series of all time for him/her. Seeing this confused me, lol, and that’s because i have also seen The Blacklist, and this movie is also so GOATED. I love it so much…

Now i have three wonderful award winning series of all times in my list. I have THE ORIGINALS, THE BLACKLIST & GAME OF THRONES. These three series did it for me, and i can vouch for them anytime, anywhere, and any day that these series are THE GREATEST OF ALL TIMES…

If i have to eliminate two movies from my goated list, although i wish they asked for more than one, then i’d have love to give them this three award winning shows of all time. Eliminating two, i’d have remove The Blacklist and Game Of Thrones, making this decision was very easy, and that’s because i didn’t really enjoy them like i did with THE ORIGINALS. The Originals was a series made just for me. The fact that it’s a series that talks about vampirism, werewolves, wizards and witches is why i love it so much, compared to the other eliminated two which only had to do with battles and the use of intellectual skills…

As a movie lover, i love and live for Supernatural related series, especially one that has to do with supernatural gifts and powers. The likes of Vampires, werewolves and witches. THE ORIGINALS just struck it for me big time. Although it’s an old series, but then to me it’s the greatest series of all times…

Why The Originals?

Honestly, i don’t need to have any reason to love the originals. The fact that this movie is all about supernaturality is more than enough. I couldn’t resist streaming it when i heard of it, I became more interested to watch it when i realized it’s the genesis of Vampire Diaries and The Lagacies, these were the two series i was watching back then when someone told me about the originals being the origin of everything. I came to find out that The Originals talked about the first set of immortal vampires, these vampires were unkillable, the could only be put to sleep by the dagger to the heart, which happens to kill other usual vampires, but then they also had the same sun weakness. They could only be killed the White oak tree…

The Originals depicted the creation of every single vampire in both Vampire Diaries. How all the characters in Vampire diaries came to become vampires and their SIRE lines were what was revealed to us in the originals. I couldn’t resisting pausing The Vampire Diaries to go start from The Originals, which happened to be the genesis of this whole war between vampires, werewolves, witches and the originals…

The originals first, vampire diaries second, then the legacies last. The legacies was the continuation of the originals. This was the storyline of Niklaus Mikaelson’s daughter “Hope”. Niklaus was one of the originals, a hybrid to be precise..

Don’t miss out on this for real. I bet you will love it. It’s a 5 season series. Big ups to Elijah and Klaus. Family always and forever…
