Greetings everyone, I’m really glad to be part of this Midnight Owl community.

I didn’t plan to love you,
it just happened quietly,
like the sun rising without asking permission.

You walked into my life
with your small smiles and soft words,
and suddenly my days learned a new meaning.

When I hear your voice,
My worries are forgetting their names.
When I think of you,
my heart remembers how to hope.

I don’t love you in loud ways,
I love you in steady ways,
in prayers,
in patience,
in thoughts I keep just for you.

If love is a journey,
then you are my favorite road,
and even when it’s rough,
I still want to walk it with you.

I choose you,
not because you are perfect,
but because my heart feels at home
whenever you are near.
