Life of a midnight 🦉 owl

Been a while I published a post in the midnight letters meanwhile I've been doing a lot of nights lately, and right now I am like I have to give my self some rest because I feel I have deprived myself of some good sleep and so I might need to sleep early....

but then the thing is I'm a late sleeper, somehow I don't know how to sleep early, before you know what's up it's pass midnight and I can go on till pass 2 or three no matter how sleepy I feel especially if there's something I'm working on.

I was literally telling my friend this morning that if it's possible for me to Uninstall sleep from my system that I'll do it, cause I feel I don't have time there's too much to be done, I need speed to cover up a lot, so I really need to judiciously make good use of my time very well, she told me no no that's not healthy for the body, you know in as much as there is more to do we shouldn't neglect taking some good time to rest and allow the body to rejuvenate and not over work the system.

she reminds me that health is wealth, I shouldn't just concentrate on pursuing after the money bag and neglecting the health side of the equation i must balance both, this she told me to give rest to my body and not over work my body, altho I haven't been working or doing any strenuous work but I feel I have to still go to bed early I also still feel I need speed to cover up so I need the night hours

another reason for my late night is because the year is very much fresh and young and so many people will think there's still time to achieve all of the resolutions but I feel if care is not taken time will gradually slip off our fingers without knowing, this how we all procrastinate till we hear MERRY CHRISTMAS once again and then looking back at how the year went we'd be suprise that we achieve very little compare to what we wanted to, so becaue of this live my life so intentional like I have a lot to do and I don't have time to waste, like every single minute is precious to me and so I need to double up by stealing some extra hours into the nights

Your friend is absolutely right. As much as time seems to be slipping away alongside the tasks which keep piling on one's shoulders, neglecting your health won't help you in any way.
This is just why sleep is said to be underrated and the sooner we all realise the good it does to us, the better 🙂.

that's very true, I really slept well last night and I woke up feeling bright and energetic indeed sleep is a gift of nature .....
