Midnight Letters Prompt #5: What does midnight sound like to you?

Howdy to you all, my fellow Midnight Owls,

Here is the new prompt for the Midnight Owls:

What does midnight sound like to you?

Wherever you are on the surface on the earth as long as it is midnight where you are, here is a midnight prompt for you to write about in the midnight community. Do not hold back and share your thoughts or something you might have experienced in the past. The community would like to know what your experience feels like when you stay awake at midnight. Let see what you have to say as I am sure all stories will definitely not be the same. There will be some that are serious, exciting and others that will be funny or ever more, those that might be scary.

Before I share my thought on what midnight feels like to me, here are some highlight from the previous prompts from our fellow midnight owls.

Now let was talk about what midnight sound like to me. It is when the entire neighbourhood has gone into rest. Peaceful for me to listen to my thoughts are away from the hassle of the everyday busy world. Everyday people make sounds with their movement. Those who are shouting about what they are going through. Those who are scolding their kids. The boss who is making a lot of noise on a business phone call and other who might be engaged in one form of buying or selling all disguise under the terms of trade.

Nothing feels more enjoyable that the presence of absolute silence when you can hear the sound of a pin touch the ground. That allows for all kinds of thoughts to run through my mind without being disturbed. I can make plans way ahead but taking any decisive step, thanks to the period of peaceful soliloquy. I believe you do not owe anybody an explanation for your thought process but you need that form of silence for you to think deeply.

Ever wonder why a chess tournament hall always aim for absolute silence. It is because of the thinking going on different chess boards and it is helpful to remain as quiet as possible in order to avoid distortion from one's thought process. I have an opinion. How about organizing a chess tournament at midnight where the world is fast asleep and only the midnight owls are wild awake.

That is why I enjoy to partake in some online chess tournaments during the late hours of the midnight because of the peace and quiet. What your story? What does midnight sound like to you? Tell us in the community with your post.
