Midnight comes with a different kind of energy and atmosphere. Well, different kinds of that. For those who can't stay up at night and would definitely want a good sleep, nighttime provides that very atmosphere. For the midnight owls who refuse to shut their eyes, choosing to stay awake for some reason, it gives a soothing and pleasant atmosphere for the purpose they stay awake.
I remember last night, wanting to stay awake and do some things before getting some sleep but I ended up falling asleep. A certain task that I had intended to do couldn't get done. And so it goes on some days, even for a midnight owl. The body will prevail sometimes against one's will and plans. Some nights, I get some good rest and some good sleep. Perhaps, we can say that I became a sleeper on those days.
More than the unusual and in several cases, you find my eyes wide open at midnight. How this became an unusual thing for me can be traced back to school days I guess. So at night, I become that one who refuses to sleep or retire to bed early. This is because I tend to have gotten familiar with nighttime and the serene, calm and soothing atmosphere wonderful for some work or other things I might consider necessary.
What I become at midnight isn't something extremely different, but just a part of me that has gotten acquainted with nighttime and tends to utilise it for good measures. I become that one who wants to maximise it to get some work or other important, helpful and development things done. I do mention and applaud the beauty of midnight hours because of the calm and quiet atmosphere it brings which is just soothing for doing my stuff, like even this moment I'm at it.
For me, it's that time of the day to use and utilise well to my advantage and for some good. The fewer distractions, more clarity and even the faster network all make up the reason why I find midnight hours helpful and wonderful. I'll say then that I become I just become active at midnight. Maybe more than during the day because I have this time totally to myself, free of any form of external disturbances.
Perhaps, I get hyperactive like the owls. Well, when everyone's sleeping and your eyes are wide open, you're losing some good sleep, you've got to make it count. And because midnight seems fleeting, which obviously has time running fast before the day breaks, I become active to maximise it as best as I can, at least for the sake of the sleep I'm sacrificing and the effort to stay awake.
