I found my way here this midnight, not because I've not been awake previous nights but because I felt lazy to lose my sleep. Being a midnight owl for me is just like a guest, I'm not a permanent resident and that's why I always accord Samostically and @mathewdaddywah their respects when it comes to being a midnight owl.

I can't say I'm tired and I cant say I can skip my sleep professionally as a owl but I don't know why or how my body system runs it that as long as I wake up to do something at midnight, then my sleep for the rest of the night is altered.
This makes it hard for me to want to get up and pause my sleep at times cos I know I won't be enjoying the rest of my sleep anymore or I may even lose the sleep to only God knows who or what and I hate it mostly happens when I have things to do during day time which would need my 100 percent mental stability.
In summary, I'm not up by mistake, by tiredness, or as a professional midnight owl. I'm here because it is one of those nights I find it hard to sleep back until sleep get to have its way naturally on its own and I guess it might be extra hard to sleep cos the Muslims are doing their prayers already to eat for their Ramadan fasting.

Maybe when an international remote job or gig comes in and I'm blessed to have 1, I can become a permanent midnight owl and become a full-time member as a midnight owl and not just a part-time or temporary member.
I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the midnight owl community prompt at 3:29am WAT

Welcome to the family of night owl
I honestly think it's okay to be a guest, you don't have to stay awake daily if there's nothing keeping you.. And midnight sleep is considered the best form of rest.
