I paid 3 cents for this and it was worth every penny

Yes I am working on George the Squirrel, and then I came across this post which brought my attention to the fact that PeakD has gotten into the AI game with a really smart thing, done in a clever way with clear value add (at least to me).

Turns out that "Ai" is just a bunch of computer code that people are running, and you can get some AI juice "for free" on sites like https://civitai.com/models - but you will have to "make an account" and play around with the gamification of "energy" that is akin to airline miles to do it.

You can get free "energy" by jumping on one foot and retweeting about the particular site, but in my ornery old age I don't like to pay for my needs with social engineering. I would rather pay money, unfortunately for most sites, that's a whole other can of worms.

https://peakd.com/ai turns that on its head. For tiny micropayments I can use my HIVE wallet to access other people's "compute" and make delicious images for my game world of Mithril Destiny.

Their most recent update shows that they are not afraid to lower prices either!

There are several different models, make sure to study them carefully. I will be using this more and more as I have no problem shelling out a few cents for images to avoid having to use these sketchy ai sites.

I'm going to send these boys my nickels every time I get the urge to have an image of something. Its brilliant because most quality posts on Hive make more than a nickel.
