Expensive Times and Moment.

EXPENSIVE MOMENTS.

Life is full of fleeting moments that when we look back and take a look at it, we tend to wonder how time flies, because moments that were once shared end up becoming memories that we cherish, and we still yearn to experience those moments or better still meet those people whom we shared those moments with.

Recently as I was going through my phone's gallery, I came across picture's that I had taken with my friends on different occasions, some with their consent while some of it was without their consent and these made me to smile, feeling happy.
Most of those moments are still vivid in my mind just as if it was yesterday because of how I have been reliving them in my mind and every of those moments is stored deep within me in my most cherished closet.

I have met alot of people, chatted with some, hangout with some but just a few of them I will consider to be my friends, because till today, am still in contact with those special friends and I can proudly say to a certain extent that I consider them my brothers and sisters because of the bond we share.

Calling someone your brother does not necessarily mean you guys are sharing the same blood and parents, because to me, my brother is someone who got my back whenever I need him and will always standup for me even if am not there no matter the situation.

I remember during my final year at the university,I was staying in the same compound with some of my friends and course mate but in my room we were four because some of our guys came to stay with us due to expired house rent and they don't want to renew their rent since we were in our final four months of school.

Few days before our final exams, me and my guys decided that we need to celebrate it since it wasn't an easy journey for us to spend 8 years in the university instead of 5 years and it wasn't because of spill over or failed courses, but because of the unforseen situations in the educational system, government and the school itself at that time. We contracted a female friend of ours who was also staying in the same compound to cook jellof rice and fried rice for us specifically for that day and we bought some drinks to go with the food.

On that day, some friends and course mate of the same level came over, ate and drank to their fill and celebrated together with us and left after everything, but that wasn't the end, because that night, my guys decided to put up a talent show and display, some were just singing, jumping and vibing to the songs that were being played, while some were dancing and even twerking with shirt off , all due to excitement.

It was a wonderful time spent with these guys and even though life has different plans for us as we are all working and trying to contribute our own quota and handle the responsibilities we all carry, we still communicate and assist each other whenever a need comes up as we hope to organize a reunion one day to once again, celebrate life, our successes and discuss more about our experiences and way forward for each of us.

But untill then, I will hold on to these memories and moments because I know for sure no matter how long it takes, these guy's have my trust, loyalty and respect.
