Let the gentle waves and refreshing wind wash your stress away at Roma Villarosa Beach Resort

Hello Hivers 🙂 I just wanna share my Throwback Thursday date with my mother at the beach last Thursday at two o'clock in the afternoon. My mother was a little bit stress and anxious about my younger sister NCLEX examination day and her situation as a Mom to her one year old daughter. So, my mother decided to go to the beach to unwind. So, we went to Roma Villarosa beach resort at Puntataytay in Barangay Sum-ag which is referred to the summer capital of Bacolod City. It's just twenty-five minutes away from downtown area of Bacolod City.

Nothing fancy about this beach resort because it is very cheap. The entrance fee is only ten pesos per head. There is no special amenities. When we arrived at the beach resorts the guest are mostly students who wants to unwind and feel the peaceful tranquility after a tiresome school classes. There are also fishermen that ride in their small fishing boats, busy catching fish, shells, crabs and shrimps that they can sell.

All day rental for the beach table is only fifty pesos during weekdays and one hundred pesos during weekends. The nipa hut is very simple but great enough to share food and have bonding moments with your families and friends.

There is a barbeque grill where you can grill your favorite fish, meat and seafood. We didn't grill any food, my mother just bought her favorite seafood food which is the oyster and I just ate some snacks with coconut juice.

There is a Republic Act law about Anti-Littering that prohibits littering, throwing of garbage in public places, but I was dismayed when I see lots of garbage anywhere inside the beach resort. It's just sad to know that they are people who are shameless to throw their garbage anywhere.

The beach has lots of mangroves, Mangroves act as a natural coastal protectors, creating vital habitats for marine life, it also buffers storm mangroves dense roots and trunks absorbs wave energy from storms and stabilize shoreline which prevents beach erosion.

While strolling around the beach I found new friends who are Jielsie nine years old and Ressen seven years old. I really like talking to children their innocence makes me smile. Eventually, they became my photographers, they are willing to take pictures of me.

Roma Villarosa beach resort is a good place to unwind with your family and friends without breaking your wallet. If you're a shell lover you would enjoy picking up lots of variety of shells. Indeed, going to the beach offers stress relief from the soothing waves and the fresh sea air, improves your mood or just staring at the vast ocean can calm your mind. 🙂
