A lot of time we are advised to go to workshops, events, seminars, concerts, and a lot more. While some of these events can be stressful or might not be our thing, sometimes we just need to go for them as you never know what’s in store for you.
I took a leap of faith two weeks ago to attend an event and I was glad that I did. Despite it being pretty far from my house, I still did, remembering all that happened that day makes me so happy.
Two weeks ago I attended Grow with Renny 3.0: The Audacious edition.
Over 4,000 participants were in attendance of which the majority were youths.
It was a memorable event for me and I am so glad that I attended it.
It was a fun-packed. We had keynote sessions, panel sessions, great speakers from different works of life, great artists, games, networking, and a lot more.
A lot was tackled that day. From finance to career development, adulthood, friendship, mentorship, etc.
I arrived at the venue super pumped and ready to enjoy myself to the fullest and fortunately, I did and would love to attend many more in the future.
These great speakers were not just opportune to share their stories with us but they were also able to teach us the various ways they were able to excel in their careers.
The event featured a raffle draw where people walked away with different juicy prizes, brand endorsements, cash prizes, and even a plot of land was given out that day. Sadly I didn’t win anything😂😂
For an event that was free, no tickets, no restrictions just come and have fun? The organizers outdid themselves.
I had so much fun on this particular day and I was sad when it was time to go home. The event was well-planned that there was no room for boredom or exhaustion, every one was supercharged and ready.
One of my favorite parts of the event was seeing my favorite speakers on stage. I mean, I love these people, so it was nice to see and listen to them speak.
I enjoyed how they made us network. The rule was “Make a friend before you leave” and there was an exchange of gift session. We all had to exchange our gifts with our seat partners, seat partners with gifts though. Luckily for me, I got an amazing gift and I also made a new acquaintance that day😃
There were different vendors, selling varieties of food and drinks. All you had to do was choose the one that appealed to your taste buds.
Least I forget, we had a dress code for that day. We were asked to dress Bold and Bougie hehehe, and we all killed it. At the end of the event, the best dressed was given some juicy prizes.
