Memories of 2024 in a few pictures

Pheeew it was one hell of a jolly ride in 2024 and one that I cannot forget in a hurry.

So, I am going back to those beautiful memories I made and saving them here on the blockchain.

While I went down memory lane I just can’t help but smile at how my 2024 went, even though the road was rocky at some point and it felt like I was going to lose my mind at any moment, I made it and this is me right here full of life and happy to the fullest as I made it through 2024 in one piece.

One of the highlights of 2024 was helping to plan different surprises for my friends and colleagues on their birthdays. It was so heartwarming to see their reactions and these are memories I will forever cherish.

Celebrating my friends while they are alive is one of my mantras in life, I am not going to wait till they are gone to write epistles or what would have happened in the future, absolutely No!

Whenever I remember how excited they were I can’t help but smile and give myself a pat on the back😃

2024 was a year of going on solo dates for me. For the longest time, I struggled with going out alone and as a result of that, I could go weeks without going out simply because a friend canceled on me but in 2024 I went out alone a lot and I enjoyed myself every single time.

It wasn’t as difficult as I thought and I regret why it took me so long to know that solo dates are fun and can be therapeutic sometimes. You just need to relax and enjoy yourself.

I visited an art gallery and getting lost in the world of these talented artists was awesome and the memories would always be dear to me.
I was opportune to go to different art galleries in two different cities and I can tell you for a fact that art is universal and every artist is unique in his or her own way.

Another memorable event I attended in 2024 was the Bike carnival that was held in my city. This Bike carnival included bikers from different parts of the country who came together to race some distance. The grand prize was huge and was worth it.

The shocking part of the race was the bikers had to come in groups and each group had to ride their bikes from their respective cities to the venue. Till today I’m still surprised at how they were able to pull it off.

I attended this event with a friend who is also a photographer, so I was able to have unlimited access to the riders.

Thanks to my photographer friend, I was also able to be on a movie set.
Being on this movie set was amazing, as I was able to experience a lot of things that happen behind the scenes, and watching the actors rehearse their lines and re-run some scenes was awesome!

2024 would also be characterized as a year I laid my hands on different things and learnt alot.
I remember vividly how I started the year by learning how to make yogurt courtesy of my friend who painstakingly helped guide me all the way and I assisted her with some of her orders.

Towards the end of the year, I also started learning makeup as I needed to do my makeup myself without breaking the bank.

I can’t help but chuckle whenever I think about my experience at a trade fair in my city. Attending this trade fair was one of the highlights of my year as I enjoyed being in the same space with vendors who could do or say just anything to entice you to get their product and trust me, these vendors are shameless. They are ready to go raving mad as long as you are willing to buy their products, hehehe.

All of these memories are very dear to me and I don’t think I’ll be able to forget them in a hurry😃
