Natural Bridges State Beach [EN/PT-BR]

Natural Bridges State Beach is located in the north part of Santa Cruz, still in the urban part of the city. The beach, and state park, is named after the huge natural bridge that stands right off shore.

Its a bit hard to see in these pictures, but can you see all those dots on top of the rock bridge? Those are all pelicans and cormorants!! If you stand thare long enough, you might see them all take off an fly at the same time, it's a beautiful view.

The access to the view point is easy, but the parking lot is only for 20 minutes. Longer parking is behind the beach and it's paid, since it's a state park. Also, because this is a state park, you can't take off with drones from there. You are allowed to take off from somewhere else, and fly above the water, but you can't take off from inside a state park in California. I parked on the road a few blocks down to take these pictures.

A Natural Bridges State Beach (Praia Estadual de Pontes Naturais) está localizada na parte norte de Santa Cruz, ainda na área urbana da cidade. A praia e o parque estadual receberam esse nome devido à enorme ponte natural de pedra que fica bem próxima à costa.

É um pouco difícil ver nessas fotos, mas você consegue ver todos aqueles pontos no topo da ponte de pedra? São todos pelicanos e corvos-marinhos! Se você ficar lá parado por um tempo, poderá vê-los todos decolando e voando ao mesmo tempo, é um visual bem legal.

O acesso ao mirante é fácil, mas o estacionamento é limitado a 20 minutos. O estacionamento mais longo fica atrás da praia e é pago, já que é um parque estadual. Além disso, por se tratar de um parque estadual, não é permitido decolar com drones de lá. É permitido decolar de outro lugar e voar sobre a água, mas não é permitido decolar de dentro de um parque estadual na Califórnia. Estacionei na rua alguns quarteirões abaixo para tirar essas fotos.
