⚡Mood: Elevated (literally), inspired (briefly), and then tragically... corporate
🛑 The Moment I Hit Pause on Life
There I was. Driving. Minding my own business. Thinking about the upcoming soul-sapping Teams calls. And then — boom. Halle lit up like a renaissance painting dropped in a Marvel movie. No way was I letting that pass.
So I parked. Right there. Probably illegally. Launched the Mini 3 Pro. And gave myself 15 minutes of pure, unapologetic visual freedom.
📸 Photo Breakdown: City First, Always
1. The Crown Jewel — St. Martinus Basilica
The pride of Halle. This thing doesn’t just stand, it declares. Lit by the rising sun like it’s about to drop a mixtape called “Baroque & Unbothered.”
2. The Full Spread — Halle in Panorama
This is where the city flexes. Rooftops, historic charm, a killer skyline... and if you squint, you can almost see my unpaid parking ticket. Totally worth it.
3. A Closer Look — The Heart of Halle
This one hits like a postcard from your future self, saying: “Remember when you chose passion over punctuality?” Zero regrets.
4. Okay Fine — The Canal Came to Slay Too
Look, I tried to downplay it, but... the curves of that canal? Come on. That’s Halle’s quiet side whispering, “I see you.”
5. The Symmetry of Stillness
This is the final boss of balance — modern windmills, sleepy water, and roads that somehow all lead back to reality (read: the office).
🧠 For My Drone Nerds
- Mini 3 Pro, manual exposure, RAW only. You know the drill.
- Peak light = 10 mins max. Get in, get high, get sharp.
- No ND filter? No problem. Just trust your histogram and pray to the dynamic range gods.
- Panos > Portraits. Halle begs for it.
😅 And Then… The Office
Oh right. Work. After this symphony of sunrise and silence, I went to the office and immediately died a little inside. But hey — we fly so we can sit through spreadsheets, right?
Back in my day, we didn’t even have drones. We had “disposable cameras” and regrets.
✈️ TL;DR (Too Lazy, Didn’t Rotate Your Props)
- Halle is underrated AF. Go there.
- Sunrises are free. And they hit harder than your boss’s 9AM Slack.
- Always bring your drone. You never know when your brain will need a reset.
- Be late. Be inspired. Be unapologetically creative.

Yes indeed, the histogram can work wonders if you use it! Same thing for the overexposure area warning. Not sure if the Mini 3 Pro has it though :-D But I use it quite often on my big cameras.

I've got the mini se and it works well with its 2.7k sensor. I use the histogram to set up and lock it for consistent exposure during flights.
