🌲 “Forest, Flight & Fire Skies” — A Walk, A Drone, and a Lesson in Perspective 🌅
You ever hit a point in the week where you just wanna throw your phone in a lake and scream into a tree? Yeah, same. So naturally, I grabbed my DJI Air 2S—because retail therapy in drone form is still cheaper than actual therapy—and I hit the woods. And let me tell you: nature delivered harder than your favorite Amazon Prime driver hopped up on espresso and existential dread.
Location: Somewhere quiet enough to hear your thoughts—and then ignore them.
Gear: DJI Air 2S (a.k.a. “My Eye in the Sky”)
Mission: Get a walk, shoot some cinematic serenity, and maybe, just maybe… capture a sunset that slaps harder than Monday.

You don’t need a $10k camera rig to create content that resonates. You need perspective. Literally. Like, aerial perspective. The DJI Air 2S makes you feel like Spielberg, without needing a studio or a ponytail.

Shot 1: That first overhead of the shoreline? Looks like Earth’s trying to paint a Bob Ross scene using sand and algae. And you know what? It worked. Happy little lakes.
Shot 2: Straight rows of farmland meeting organic chaos of forest—basically a metaphor for my planner versus my actual life.
Shot 3: The sunset? Chef’s kiss. A color palette that says “forgive yourself and start again tomorrow.” Or, you know, start now if you’re into that kind of healthy thinking.
Shot 4: That tiny island in teal water? If I go missing, assume I’ve built a hut there and finally achieved inbox zero.

1. Creativity lives outside your feed. Go find it. Like, with your legs. And a drone.
2. Nature doesn’t need a filter. But hey, Lightroom still slaps.
3. Stop aiming for perfection. Aim for real. And bonus if it’s also jaw-dropping.

Thanks! Yeah, especially in our area, rivers, lakes and the sea have a brown color, due to the sand. The one in this pictures is in a clay-rich area, so less sand, and a nicer color!

Yeah, screaming into a tree definitely works! I learned it from my wife, @nathalie-s. It works even better if you take a tree in the middle of a forest. Because then, when you're finished screaming, and that part of your therapy is done, you get an extra therapy session by relaxing and getting your feet back on the ground by walking in the forest! ;-)
